Melissa, This is to let you know that we are both thinking of you and Arnie on this first Anniversary that you share together - as you travel on your road to Heaven, Arnie`s spirit ever near you. My 3 Pigeons and Lorraine`s 3 Dogs join with us as you remember the happy times you spent together - and the blessing you were - and still are - to each other. Such love is a rare Gift from God and unites us in an unbreakable bond few may experience or understand: unconditional love breathing the air of Heaven even while they share, for a short time, our earthly lives. The next Anniversary will be less painful as you learn to separate your eternal love for Arnie from the inevitable pain of grief and longing. We hope Hudson is well and is giving you support only a cat may give. Our prayers go with this message that, as you read it, you may feel the Lord`s Healing Presence - which Arnie now enjoys fully - waiting with purrs to greet you when God calls you Home for ever...Lorraine & Tessa.

To Arnold, I read what your mommy wrote about you. I looked at your photo album too. What a cute little baby you were and what a beautiful cat you grew up to be. When you have a minute, reach down with your sweet little paw and touch your mommy's heart. She misses you so much and thinks about you every day. Let her know you can't cuddle with her anymore but you are near. When she is having a hard day, tell her to reach her hand to her heart, you are right there. And when the time is right, you will meet her at the bridge and be together forever. Listen for the cans being opened. That's a sign from your mommy to you.

Melissa, Today marks the 3rd month since your beloved Arnold passed gently to Heaven. We both wanted you to know that we are thinking of you at this time when you remember again the earthly loss of your dearest and best friend - God`s special gift to you, his parent. He sees your tears and feels the breaking of your heart. Your beloved Arnie is with you always in spirit, loving you still. We know that what we commit to the Lord He keeps for us till it is our turn to join our loved ones in Heaven - where there will be no more tears, pain or parting: only Eternal Joy! Grief heals slowly - each day taking us further from our loss and nearer to our loved ones in Heaven, the Eternal Home of all Who love God and His creatures. `Eye has not seen nor ear heard the things which God has prepared for those who love Him`. Arnie now enjoys those wonders which he will one day share with you who are his parent forever. Meanwhile, he is as near as Heaven is to all of us: purring his love for you!

Hello, handsome Arnold, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful butterflies and trade kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for her until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy always, beloved sweet boy. Pressy's Grandpa

Melissa, As a former cat-parent I feel for you at this very distressing time: at the passing of your handsome boy - whose photos I have been admiring - along with his `partner in crime`! I see the love-light in your Arnold`s eyes - all for you. It seems, on top of the terrible pain of grief you are already suffering, you are tormented by doubt (and guilt) wondering if you could have done more. Grief twists things in our minds so that we think we should have `done more` even when nothing more could have been done. Cats are expert at hiding their symptoms from vets and owners - often before it is too late for medical intervention. Arnie would not want you to be made so unhappy because of the cruel doubts that assail you. Usually there is nothing that could have been done differently - especially with a terminal illness - which will have its way regardless. May you find peace in your heart knowing that, as his loving parent, you did all you could. In the end God took him gently Home.

I am so sorry for your loss of Arnold. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Arnold that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Arnold and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Arnold continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Arnold. Please find comfort in knowing that Arnold is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. I am sure that Arnold and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Melissa, Arnold is such a beautiful cat, nice color. Arnold did not really leave you; his memory will live in your heart, and Arnold awaits you to rejoin him in Rainbow Bridge. You, and all of us who've lost our furry friends, will be in Rainbow Bridge one day, and that's what our friends long for. I lost my baby, a female Beagle named River, last March 21. Here's River now---http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/RIVER002/Resident.htm I'm are Arnold and River have met and spending endless hours of play. My River was kind to cats, never chased them but just looked at them, unusual for a dog. Arnold now watches over you, Melissa; he'll see your pain and know how much he was loved.

Arnold I am sorry for your loss. Melissa loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

For sweet Arnold, I know that during your lifetime you gave Melissa much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Melissa wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Arnold I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Melissa, I just visited your Arnold's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Arnold would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Arnold. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).
