“God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your precious little Oreo, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this first Holiday Season without your beloved furbaby. My prayer for all of us this Joyous season, is that our babies will wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved fur-angel bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this season. Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, Momma, DJ & Patches mom)

Dear Jennifer, my condolences on your sweet baby boy Oreo's passing. I know you loved Oreo so much so please don't feel guilty if you feel you failed him somehow. I know Oreo would say, you were the best mommy and he wouldn't trade a moment of his life to be with anyone else. I pray that in time your broken heart heals. With deep sympathy, Rose

Jennifer...we all have regrets when we discipline our furies, you are not the only one....a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. Oreo is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

I'm sorry for the loss of your Tippi Toe Oreo. What a handsome little guy. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I lost my Rocky in March. I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Oreo is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when he needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope he's met my boys by now.Finn is a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and Rocky is the sweetest gentle giant. If you would care to visit my guys

Jennifer, I`m sorry to learn of the passing of your lovely little Oreo - with you, it appears, for about 6 years. However long or short his stay on this Earth and in your life, he has formed unbreakable bonds with you which extend far beyond life as we know it - into Eternity. I am concerned that you feel guilt because you wish you could `change that day` and do things differently. This sort of thinking cnaracteristically accompanies a loss: it is one of the conflicting emotions of grief. Things become magnified out of all proportion and we torture ourselves with guilt - which is not what Oreo would want for you. Nothing is perfect in our mortal lives and animals are much more forgiving and accepting of us than we realise. You were stressed and could not help what was a reflex re-action. Please do not be hard on yourself. If it helps talk to Oreo about it - write him a letter. Try to let the past go and look forward to the wonderful life that awaits you both one day in Heaven.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Oreo. Please find comfort in knowing that Oreo is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Oreo and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

Dear Jennifer, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Oreo. He was a beautiful Boy and obviously deeply loved. You gave him such a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Oreo will continually provide you with comfort, he will forever live in your heart and memories. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. Sending love and light, Nelson

Jennifer- The biggest holes left in our hearts are made by the littlest and most lovable souls we have come to know. May the emptiness be filled with memories and laughter of your spirited and granola-loving Arnold Tippi Toe Oreo. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and have left a brick to add to the paw-lined path to Rainbow Bridge in loving memory.
