I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Amory. Please find comfort in knowing that Amory is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Dear Rick and Dawn, your words about Amory made me cry. She was obviously so very much loved and a huge part of your family. Although no details given, I take it that she became sick and crossed the bridge fairly unexpectedly and soon after. I went through something similar last August when my Buzzy B Bear became sick and had to be put to sleep just 2 days later. Yes, it is so hard to go on - changed daily routines, the awful quietness in the home and not seeing those gorgeous big smiles. I hope Amory and Buzzy B Bear find each other and can play and become friends. Please know that Amory is warm, healthy and happy and probably dreaming of all the tummy rubs, cuddles, treats, and fantastic adventure he had with you both when he was in his 'human form'. For sweet Amory, I know that during your lifetime you gave Rick & Dawn much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Amory, I have two wonderful playmates for you. Their names are Pedro and Keshet and both are adorable just like you. I know you will be very good friends. Amory, you have no idea how much I miss you already. I'm going to miss you groaning when I give you love while you're trying to sleep, I'm going to miss you hogging the bed when I'm watching you while mom and dad are on a trip, and, most of all, I'm going to miss how you would come over and lay on my chest to greet me when I walked through the door. I'd say you have no idea how loved you are, but I think you're completely aware that you hit the jackpot by landing with a family that cares for you so much, and no matter how many years go by, that will never change. I know it's going to be a while before we see each other again, but just know that not a day will go by that I don't smile at the thought of us being reunited. I love you Amory.
