Oh my Alistair when I saw your picture I was taken aback for a moment because you look so much like our Bella that snores on the couch as I write this. You see Ali-Baba nose she is the first Boxer we have ever had and came to us at the age of 6 months. Over the years we have 11 babies of all breeds at rest here and we are forever grateful for the chance to be their humans as they most all came from rescue situations. Then came our last rescue Bella OHHHHH the love of a Boxer. She is our wiggle butt, or Bella Wella, our baby girl our world. I have loved and been loved by most every breed but the love of a Boxer is not to be described in words. So Ali Baba-nose I know your humans love and miss you lots so don't forget to send them a very bright night star every now and again to let them know you are with them always just inside their hearts.

“God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your precious Ali, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this first Holiday Season without your beloved furbaby. My prayer for all of us this Joyous season, is that our babies will wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved fur-angel bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this season. Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, Momma, DJ & Patches mom)

Hello, handsome Alistair, welcome to they meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy and Daddy love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy and Daddy feel your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy and Daddy so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy and Daddy always, beloved sweet Ali-baba. Pressy's Grandpa

I am so sorry for your loss of Alistair. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Alistair that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Alistair and they have become friends. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Ali. Please find comfort in knowing that Ali is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Ali and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Toni and Steve- What a beautiful tribute to your best friend and companion, Alistair "Ali Baba-nose", whose nose was like no other... May those recollections bring a smile to your lips and warmth to your heart(s) in your time of need. It is the most unselfish act to say how much you loved him enough that you were not willing to feel the loss of a dear friend -- and were not willing to let that friend suffer with his declining faculties. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and placed a pull rope at Rainbow Bridge to keep that bond and connection for an eternity--never let go!

Toni & Steve, I feel for you at the passing of your handsome Boxer boy, Alistair. As ex kennel staff at UK`s Battersea Cats/Dogs Home I understand the severity of Parvo and the care needed for a dog to recover. So many die. Thank you for giving this wonderful dog 10 years of happiness - sharing your life with you - your beloved companion and dearest friend. I understand the emptiness you must be feeling in your heart and home after saying goodbye to Him. It is the price of love we pay for all the wonderful years of unconditional love they give us: the lot of all parents. I know what it is like having to make the hardest decision of all so that Alistair could be freed from the suffering his illness caused him. Cancer is such a cruel disease for owner and pet! I promise you the pain does grow less in time as you allow yourself to cry - and talk about him to caring friends. Yes, you will see him again in Heaven where he runs - well and happy - waiting for you to join him one glad day!
