I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Abby. Please find comfort in knowing that Abby is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Dear David and Family, what a long and wonderful life Abby lived. It is so very hard when they cross the big Bridge, but rest assured she will be warm, comfortable with her sisters and "lamb chop" and that I am sure she will be remembering all the love you gave her and all the wonderful times she shared with you when she was in her 'human' body. For sweet Abby, I know that during your lifetime you gave David much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what David wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Abby, I have two wonderful playmates for you. Their names are Pedro and Keshet and both are adorable just like you. I know you will be very good friends. For David, I just visited your Abby's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Abby would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. David : It’s safe to say that forever would still not be long enough. Loving Abby was effortlessly wonderful and why you miss her so deeply. Her love for you was in a league all its own.
