My special memory is your trip from California to Texas. It was just my mother, you, and me. You decided to unzip your carrier and join us in the front seat, much to my mother's surprise. When my mother was ill, you tried to comfort her by lying on her feet. I know you missed her when she passed. It is a joy to picture you in her lap now purring, and purring. Then there was the time you waited patiently for my acorn to sprout and grow a leaf. Then you waited for me to come through the door. There you were, poised next to my little tree with your teeth on the leaf. You were so funny and filled me with joy whenever I came home and you met me at the door. I love you so, my feisty boy. Run free and play outdoors like you always wanted. I am sure Spooky will show you around! Love you ❤️ |
