Memories of MommaCat
Sweet Momma:
Dad and I don't know where to begin. We met you in September, 2005, as you strolled onto our 14 acre property, with 3 kittens trailing behind you. You allowed us to live here in the house, as long as we understood that the 14 acres outside belonged to YOU !! We got it, sweetie !! Will write more later, just too sad right now to give you the words that you so deserve. Always remember that we will continue to care for your 12 surviving children until they too join you at the Bridge, and we also anxiously await the day when WE come to join ALL of our precious doggie and kitty children !! You had us wrapped around your tail from the first minute we saw you, honey.
Love, Mom and Dad
PS---you are now free of the sudden onset of the adenocarcinoma that was located in your salivary glands, and became metastatic in your ear, eye and facial area. That right eye is now wide open and you can see, and walk without stumbling, and hear everything again, and roam the Bridge at your leisure. All of your brothers and sisters and your other kids who are already there, know that now the acreage at the Bridge totally belongs to YOU ! : ) Love again, always, and forever, your Mom and Dad, Libby and Paul Brockman - Batesville, Arkansas.
Sweet Momma Cat, Hormona, I really treasure the time we had together, you were such a smart girl, and such a good mother. I often think back to, and fondly remember, the times you and I would walk through the woods together and explore your land. I still smile when I see you jump into that big box of leaves only to come flying back out as soon as you landed. You would inspect the yard, and tell me when I needed to mow the lawn. You were very cautious, as an outdoor Mom has to be, but we earned your trust, and your love. I was thrilled the first time you jumped up onto my lap as I sat on the deck with you, I still tell "Mrs. B" that you were my girl friend. We miss you so much, and recall your exploits often. It's just not the same outside without your overseeing.
