Memories of Kody
Kody was a "Jack-Shit" a combination of a Jack Russell and a Shih Tzu. He was 18+ years old when he passed, however he looked like he was still 4 weeks old. The vet techs @ Westpark who cared for him called him the "forever puppy."
Kody was born in NY and lived there until he was 13 years old and then he obtained dual stateship. He kept his home in NY with Nonni and Poppy while he lived with his mommy and his very special friend "Steppy" in Cleveland, OH for the last five years.
Kody loved to travel in the car. He enjoyed taking walks in the park, sitting in the sun, smelling the air, and being pampered. Kody was a great snuggler and he gave the best kisses. He totally ruled the roost in NY and OH.
Kody always wanted to be around people. He loved his Friday date nights with Nonni, they would head to Bryne Dairy for scratch off lottery tickets and then back to the house for Nonni to drink a glass of Lambrusco and to sit on the porch and enjoy the evening sky. Poppy and Kody had a secret pact, Kody would sit patiently near Poppy whenever he ate and when Poppy was almost finished eating he would sneak him a piece of leftovers. He especially loved pizza crust and popcorn. Kody will always be with us in our hearts and soul. Until we meet again my handsome.

Kody, I am missing you terribly. I know in my heart that it was your time to go, however your mommy is feeling a bit selfish and wants to hold you again in my arms and feel your kisses and smell your scent.... Sweet dreams baby............

3/31/2018- 1 year ago you took your journey Kody. not a day goes by that you are not in thought. Nonnie & Poppie have made sure that you have a safe and secure place to rest at home. Your presence is always felt. The sadness lingers, however you still seem to be part of our daily conversations and photo sharing!Today, we celebrate your life! We honor you and what you have brought to us. You are our # 1 and forever faithful family friend. we love and miss you handsome.
