I rescued Iggy from my niece who was carrying him around by the neck-he was barely 5 weeks old and too young to be away from his mom. I became his mom and he became my baby. Iggy would sleep on my one pillow at night until I turned the light off, then he would go sleep with his buddy Lady, our Lab. At night, Iggy would snuggle with us, giving us kisses as we pet him. He "helped" me get my viatmins ready everynight by smelling each bottle to make sure it was "ok". He had his attitude, thus the nickname "Poopy", but most of the time he was the sweetest, most loving kitty I ever had and there will never be another one like him. I still grieve for him but know he's happy now comsuming all the catnip he wants and playing with his ol' buddy Binky who died two years ago from kidney failure-he was almost 17. I still miss you , Sweetie. (6/18/07) |
