Dear Wendy. As You Know By Now Flare is back with you.I Wonder if she knew our time together would be brief.Barb and Mike drove her over to me on Feb 20th 5 days after your sudden death from cancer.you did say she would be perfect for me and she was.As we settled in,she followed me every where.One day as I was bathing I Hear A Thumping sound at the bathroom door/! I said Flare is that You? THUMP THUMP Was the Reply.I had a good Laugh at that.In May we went to Dock Diving in West Spfld.had a great time.Then in Sept we went to the Big E For SBGR Clubs Ed day were hundreds of people Patted Flare, with Compliments Galore.Flare Loved Slippers and Chasing Tennis balls And Squirrels in the Yard.But most of all She Loved to be with Me. In mid Oct Flare who LOVED TO EAT Stopped eating. Went to Vet. DX LYMPHOMA.I Was totally Devastated!She was Only 6 years Old.And the Love of my Life..I Am So Greatful for the 5 Wonderful Golden Retrievers that I had from Cheerio's Kennels.Murphy, Cracker, Jackpot Sailor and Flare. I Truely Believe you are At God's Dog Show In Heaven, where Everyone Gets A Blue Ribbon.Flare and I Only Had 10 Months Together. Her Condition began to Deterorate On Jan 8th and I knew you were calling Her.She Went to Heaven On Jan 9th. One week ago today.
