Memories of Emma
Emma was a small little Yorkie when we brought her home at 7 weeks of age. I always wanted a Yorkie & already knew I wanted to name her Emma. In my mind, she was gonna be prissy, wear hair bows & be an all around diva.
All of this couldn't be further from what Emma turned out to be.

While a purebred Yorkshire Terrier, Emma grew to be a much bigger Yorkie then the ones I had always seen.
She had long legs & a gap between her front teeth, but her face was precious & sweet.

Yorkies were bred to be quick & fearless, to be able to get into small spaces to exterminate mice, rats etc.
That was Emma to a tee. We lived on a large piece of land that backed up to a large pond & heavily treed.
Emma wrangled with snakes, opossums, skunks & raccoons...she always came out the victor.

I'm still in shock & disbelief over what happened just a few hours ago. Emma was 15 years old...wasn't sick....
wasn't on any daily medications & was as much a spitfire as always. I have no idea why this happened....why she's no longer here. The only thing that is giving me any kind of peace is the fact that she's no longer in any kind of pain or discomfort....& that she is now reunited with fur-brother Chase & fur-brother Shadow.

It's been a long time sense she has seen the both of them & I am sure they are having a blast catching up.
I will love you forever & always, baby girl....my precious Emma Sue.
