Elmo, it has now been over 12-years since you departed for the Rainbow Bridge. It still feels like yesterday. Just know how much I love you and think of you everyday. I miss your physical presents, the walks we took, your kisses and pats to wake me up each morning, your butting of the water container so you could hear the water gurgle, your meeting me at the front door - sometimes I still expect you to be there. I can still hear your meow which sounded more like a squeak - everyone who met you just loved that cute squeak. I especially miss our daily walks around the house and the yard. I know how much you must have been missing your wrestling buddy, Ollie. As you must know know, Ollie has recently come to you (8-17-2023) so you two can play together once again. Of all your brothers and sister, you were always the closest with Ollie. Hopefully you are also playing with your other heavenly brothers, Lucy, Burt & Ernie and sister, Ginger. Every time I see an empty box I think about how much you loved to play in one. Especially those small shoe boxes that you somehow managed to squeeze into. I love it when you come to me in my dreams - I know it's more than a dream - it feels so real, as if you are reaching out to let me know that you are just fine in your heavenly home.
