Memories of Chloe
Chloe was a very social little girl, always coming out when company arrived. And her nearly constant conversations were a blessing. She always had something to say about everything! She was recently diagnosed with a rectal tumor that was blocking her intestines. The treatment wasn't working so we made the humane decision (hard as it was) to send her on her way to Rainbow Bridge where she is now with Oliver, Abby, Dennis, Brandy and Sandy waiting for us. She purred right up until her last breath she was a loving and trusting little girl. Other kitties will certainly come into our lives but there will not be another like her.
03/26/2011 The card came today from the vet. It seems they loved you as much as we did. It is still a very open wound for me without you but I know that you are happier and HEALTHY once again. Running and playing with Dennis. Just know that Mommy and Daddy miss you so much. Especialy Daddy who misses you sitting on his lap to watch TV. We will love you always!
05/04/2011 The weather is getting warmer now and I know you would have loved laying in the sun in front of the door. Dexter is missing you I think. He wants to near us all the time. I still think I hear your little bell from time to time. You will always have a special place in our hearts.
3/23/2012 Today is your anniversary at Rainbows Bridge. I know that Dexter is thinking about you today as we all are. TC and Calvin are keeping Dexter busy though.
10/12/2012 Fall is here now. Dexter has been having some problems with his asthma this year. But we have been able to keep it under control. TC, Calvin and Dexter are getting along better now. I think that Dex has finally realized that they aren't going to be leaving. :) I still remember your chattiness and how you always wanted to join in any conversation that was going on.
3/23/2013 I can't believe that it's been two years. Sometimes I can still hear your bell jingling around the house. I think that Calvin might see your spirit there too. I sometimes catch him staring intently at the wall where nothing is. Thinking of you today and remembering your sweet face.
3/23/2014 Little Girl it's been 3 years. It's hard to believe that it's been that long. We still think of you and how you loved to have conversations about anything and everything. That makes us smile. We are all doing well. Dexter is taking his big brother role very seriously and teaches Calvin and TC many things that a big brother should. We will never forget you.
3/23/2015 4 years ago we said farewell to you. Our lives were forever changed because of you. Many kitties have been joining you at Rainbow Bridge lately. I hope that you are showing them around and playing in the garden. Hopefully it will spring here soon. Life renewing itself. Thinking of you today sweet girl.
3/6/2016 Hi sweet girl. Did you greet Dexter when he came to the bridge on February 6? I hope that you and Dennis made him feel right at home and are showing him all that there is to see and do up there. We miss you and talk about the things that you used to do.
3/23/2016 Sweet Baby Girl. It's been 5 years since you were with us. The house is different now that Dexter has joined you at Rainbow Bridge. I hope that the two of you have been able to renew your brother/sister bond. We still miss your chatty little self.
3/23/2017 Six years ago today we said good-bye to you. We still talk about you and the things that you used to do. I know that you now chasing butterflies and running free with no more sickness and no more paid but we still miss you sweet girl.
3/23/2018 I can't believe that it's been 7 years. I still miss you baby girl. Things are pretty much the same around here. You would like all the birds that we have in the back yard.
3/23/2019 It's been 8 years since we said good-bye to you. You would be so happy now. I have retired so I'm home all day long! We had a lot of snow this year so the birds are slow coming back but they are starting to show up. I hope that you, Dexter, Dennis, Oliver and Abby are all playing together and having fun times. We still miss you sweet girl.
3/23/2020 9 years ago we said goodbye to you sweet girl. Things in the world are chaotic right now. Everyone is panicking. Dad and I are doing our best to stay calm because it doesn't do any good to panic. We miss you and still talk about how you used to join in conversations, especially when we were talking on the phone. We love and miss you baby girl.
3/23/2021 I cannot believe that it has been 10 years since we had to let you go. Spring is right around the corner now and you would have loved to watch all the birds and squirrels in the back yard. Dad and I both made it this far in the pandemic and we are staying safe and doing everything that the professionals say to do. That's about all for this time sweet girl. We love you and miss you still.
3/23/2022 Another year has gone by without your sweet little voice in the house. We still talk about you and remember the funny things that you used to do. Spring is going to be here soon and that means that the birds will be back too. Since we had to cut down the big tree in the back yard we don't have quite as many birds or squirrels. Still miss you sweet girl.
3/23/24 It's been another 2 years since we had to send you on your way to Rainbow Bridge. We still talk about the funny and poignant things that you used to do. Things are good here. I hope that you and Dexter are having a good time together. Miss you sweet little girl.

Please also visit Dennis and Dexter.
