Memories of Cesar
For those who don't know, our Cesar was a purebred Long-Haired Chihuahua. He was large for the breed weighing in at 9 1/2 lbs.

Cesar died of renal carcinoma which affected his entire right kidney and 50% of his left kidney. Apparently it had matasticised to his lungs. It was very aggressive as he was given a clean bill of health just two months prior to his diagnosis. He had the best hospital care at the Univ of FL Veterinary Hospital in Gainesville, but dogs with this form of cancer generally do not recover. Cesar lasted 3 weeks, but never had any pain. God answered our prayers on that, and gave us a sign when it was time to let him go.

Yes, Cesar did like to ride with me on the motorcycle, with his "doggles" on. I had a carrier that strapped to my chest and he would just sit there and watch the world go by. He loved to ride in the car/truck. Whatever, to be with his people.
