Memories of Buffy
My loving and beautiful kitty-my Buffy-We never got to say good-bye to each other-How ironic that you survived the dreadful winter as an outside kitty, but on this very first beautiful Spring day, you are gone.

I know how you loved the outdoors-but should have brought you in long ago-I tried and you told me that you needed to be free.

I never thought you would venture out to the main highway-

It was a miracle the day you came to me. You were so beautiful yet so starving and forlorn in that blizzard. I loved you immediately. It took awhile, but then you trusted me and let me hold you and provide a beautiful little house on the patio.

You and Bob loved each other too-I know you're with him now, and my Brother Sid-and all of my beloved family and fur babies.

How I'll miss you cuddling under my coat or sitting together outside while I have my morning coffee. You were such a talker-

Buffy, you were my little tough guy-my Burt Lancaster-I never dreamed that this would happen. I truly planned that trip to the vet this spring, so that you would not want to wander anymore.

I had planned on taking time off from work to stay with you after your surgery, and show you the pleasures of the indoors.

My heart is crushed-broken in pieces-Please my beloved kitty,
be happy and whole again until Mommy joins you.

I will love you forever.
