Memories of Bambi
Bambi, you left us when we were overseas two days ago. My pain is endless. Now we're back, but you are gone. Today is your funeral and I'm saying good-bye to what's left of you. You will be buried side by side with your parents Smudgy and Peggy, so you all can be together.

Now you're with Smudgy and Peggy, your parents, in heaven. They've been waiting for you and will give you a big welcome. That's how you spend most of your live from birth on, with your real parents and that when you were happiest. You spend also all your life with me. I was there when you were born 14 years ago, my little baby, but not when you died. We had such happy times. You loved your food more than anything. You never demanded much attention and were rather shy, a quiet beautiful flower in our life. Gone forever. Smudgy and Lucky always demanded more attention than you and I do regret very much not giving you more attention.

I never said good-bye forever to you when we left to go on holiday not knowing I won't see you alive again. Then you had a heart attack. You're causing so much pain in our heart and will be with us forever. Maybe we shouldn't have gone overseas? It was only the second time I left you to go on holidays and I left you in the best care with Michelle. But the heart attack would have happened anyway and you were so well looked after and not alone. You will be missed so much by mommie and daddy and Lucky.

Will love you forever, little Bambi. Lots of hugs and kisses. I have to let you go.
