Memories of Angel Blue
You were almost dead when I found you across the street from our house on July 08, 2003. I could tell you were near death. Steve brought out the carrier and I gently placed you in it. I drove 50 miles an hour down 35 miles an hour roads to Fairborn. Even though we didn't an an appointment, Dr. Dave took us in. You were hustled to the back and put in an incubator. Anti-biotics and fluids, and I was able to get some food into you. You were ours. I knew I wasn't going to put up posters like Steve suggested. Nope. you were ours. I called you Angel because you had "fallen" from the sky. Dr. Dave added the word "blue" because you were an Angel out of the Blue. You were such a pretty and sweet calico girl. Feisty as all get-out. You loved Christmas. And thereafter, people sent you tons of Christmas presents.

When I rescued Cherub from church, you said, "He's all mine." You two were inseparable. After Cherub died, you were inconsolable.
