Good morning Zeke, I was just visiting some of my babies here and came across the love story your family has written for you. I just wanted to stop in to say hello, I do hope you have met my Kaizer, he is the big old lab that is no doubt lounging in the sun by the beautiful cool streams up there in heaven. You will know him because he has 9 other brothers and sisters of a great hodge-podge of breeds lounging beside him. Your Ginny made a statement in her tribute to you, that pet ownership comes with joy and also tears. Dear sweet Ginny, that is a true statement indeed, but I also say, that every tear that drops from our eyes can never compare to the joy that each of our babies has left inside our heart. Have a beautiful day in Heaven Zeke!!

Hi Ginny, I`m sorry I missed Zeke`s Anniversary on Jan 26th. But you have been in my thoughts and prayers. The first Anniversary can be incredibly painful even with other fur-children around - awakening old wounds - yet your tears are a continued part of the healing process - which Zeke would want for you. From re-reading his story I can see how very close you were in the 7 years you had together - interrupted by his passing - but to be continued in Heaven when you two meet again for Eternity - never to be separated again by frail mortality. I expect they have frisbies in Heaven for you to play together again. What a day of rejoicing that will be - for him and for you! Till then may the pain of loss you still suffer grow less with time and good memories of the gift of his life which can never be taken away from you - in this life or the next. Be sure he still watches over you who are his beloved parent forever...Tessa & her 3 pigeons. X

GINNY TOMORROW 01-26 THE 1ST ANNIVERSARY OF YOUR LOVEING ZEKE PASSING I SEND EACH MY CONDOLENCES

Ginny, Your close relationship with Zeke is another precious gift to you from our loving Creator God. Each fur child is different and special to us and to God. It seems Zeke was taken too soon by bone disease that overcame him - causing your hearts to break yet again. It is our fate usually to outlive our beloved ones with four legs and for this we pay the price of love: trying to live our lives on this Earth without them - with our hearts aching and hidden wounds akin to amputation which we bear because of their physical absence. All this will be resolved when one glad morning - in God`s time - we are all reunited. What a day of rejoicing that will be! For now we know there is a spiritual link that connects us to our loved ones in Heaven: and the continuing bonds of unconditional - undying - love. Tessa & her birds

To Zeke's family, sending prayers for healing as I know the heartache you must be enduring. Your tribute both touched my heart and brought a smile as you described how excited he would get in anticipation of fetching his Frisbee. With deep sympathy, Rose

Ginny..Zeke is a beautiful boy with a great smile..a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us,and labs leave them like no other. He is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Dear Ginny, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Jeke. He was such a beautiful boy and obviously deeply loved. You gave him such a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial ceremony. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Jeke will continually provide you with comfort, he will forever live in your hearts and memories. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. he passed to the bridge on the same day as Jeke. Hopefully they have met already. I am leaving blankets as a gift. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CHEST037/Resident.htm. Sending love and light, Nelson

Your beautiful tribute to your beloved Zeke brought tears to my eyes! What a wonderful life he must have had with you. I am sure he is happily romping and playing Frisbee up at the Rainbow Bridge, yet missing you just as much as you miss him. I pray you will eventually find healing in your memories.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Zeke. What a handsome guy. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I lost my Rocky in March. I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Zeke is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when he needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope he's met my boys by now.Finn is a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and Rocky is the sweetest gentle giant. If you would care to visit my guys http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Rocky303/Resident.htm

Ginny, I cried with you as I read your moving story of Zeke and the wonderful life you had with him. Cancer is such a terrible disease and I`m so sorry that you all had to go through this: that Zeke`s life was so cruelly cut short at just 7 years - the prime of life. It will take your broken hearts time to heal - even if there are other dogs around to help your grieving process. Poor Zeus! It is so hard on animals who have lost a beloved playmate and companion! My thoughts and prayers are for him too! It is the most painful process saying goodbye even though we know it`s ending their pain. It is the start of ours as nothing can replace them. The only consolation is this is not the end! They await us in the Land of Peace, Love and Wholeness where `sorrow and sighing will flee away` - and where `God wipes all tears from our eyes`. The `tearing apart of your soul` will heal. Your broken heart will mend. As one recently bereaved I can promise you this. Grief fades - Love remains forever!

I am so sorry for your loss of Zeke. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Zeke that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Zeke and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Zeke continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Zeke. Please find comfort in knowing that Zeke is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Zeke and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Ginny- Often times our best friends come into our lives for a short while to share their passions with us. Zeke's passion in life was retrieving Frisbees and balls while sharing his sweet and loving soul. To have learned about your fur-son's terminal diagnosis must have felt like a wayward lob and instantaneously shattering your heart. I am so profoundly sorry. May these balloons I have left in memory of your fur-sons lift your spirits and connect their souls to you, forever and a day.

Hello Ginny, As you begin to reflect on memories of your beautiful Zeke. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm
