Hello there Yapka what a beautiful soul you are. I was just visiting some of my babies here at the bridge and came across the love story your Rebecca has written for you here. I know you have been gone a while but you see sweet one, time may pass and our hearts may mend the hole to be less deep that is caused by the longing to see you each once again, but we will always think of you babies as I am sure your mama does now. Don't forget sweet Yapka to stop in all that play up there in Heaven that I know you each are enjoying, to send your your mama a bright and shining star in the night sky every now and again so she will know you are with her always just inside her heart.

Becky, I never met Yapka in person, but your descriptions of him make me feel like I've known him all along. What a sweet, special companion and friend he is to you, even now when he is in heaven. You know, as I do, that he is always with you, an unseen furry angel by your side. He is probably responsible for you and Sonny finding each other, as I know he is always looking out for you and wants you to be happy. He probably knew the empty spot you had in your life when he had to go, so he found the next best dog to fill it. Thank you for writing this memorial and allowing me to get to know your special boy. Love, Janice and Zoe.

What a wonderful, warm bunch of precious memories of Yapka, worth to be recorded forever. Those memories will you, Rebecca, accompany all the time and the strong hope, that a reunion will take place one day, shall support an optimistic view to that what will come. May you, Yapka, be strong and healthy again, enjoying all the days with your friends and mates. I like your friendly face, your bright eyes and feel free to call you friend. Maybe I'll have the opportunity to meet you, play with you and talk to you.

I remember a game we used to play where you would lie down in front of me and I would put my feet on your paws. I would say to you "My feet are on your feet!" You would try to put your paws over my feet and we would go back and forth. The game would end when you would grab my foot in your mouth. It was your gentle way of saying you were done. I will also remember how we would all be in the living room watching TV and if one of us got up and left the herd, you would nip us on the ankle. Once I walked by and thought you were asleep and you still got me! You were a good Boo Boo always looking out for us as if we were your flock.

A CHRISTMAS WISH FOR THE ANIMALS - If I could wish upon a star and travel to the place right where you are, I would climb the Bridge on Christmas Eve and take my turn to wait. To wait right there at Rainbow's Gate, To have a chance to visit you . I would hug you tight and be so thankful that very night to have a chance to see you well and happy too. Your eyes so bright, your coat so fine. You have gotten younger over time. We could talk about the days gone by and then the day I had to cry. You could assure me you will be right there when I too will open Heavens Door. Its just a dream I know, I can not come until its time . Until then, just know, I will close my eyes this Christmas Eve and think of you. We will be together again and when I arrive, we will never ever have to part. MERRY CHRISTMAS (By Gloria Childers)
