Rose - I stumbled across your sweeet memories of your Yogi - I'm so sorry for your losses and the loss of Yogi - it's so difficult to see them so sick. I had a toy poodle named Yogi - from 2003 - to July 12 of this year - he was two weeks always from his 18th birhtday. So I hope that your Yogi is playing too with my Yogi - and that everyone is reunited in times to come. I offer you my hugs, peace and friendship at this time of loss. Nancy

I would like to thank everyone who has stopped here and offered words of comfort. I can't thank all of you enough! While we have been grieving for Yogi, today (St. Patty's Day) was our doxie's birthday who passed away last year. I need to catch up and read everyone's individual message and reply. Thank you all for being patient and kind!

Rose..Yogi is a beautiful boy.....a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us, and if he is part lab, they leave their prints like no other. He is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge, they are gone from our site but never forgotten. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Hello, pretty Yogi, welcome to the sunny Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom and Dad love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mom and Dad feel your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at Mom and Dad so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom and Dad always, beloved sweet Yogi. Pressy's Grandpa

Rose, I am sorry for the passing of your beloved Yogi in her 10th year after living with you for 7 years of her life. It is sad that this terrible cancer took her from you and I know how devastated you feel. Thank you for all the love and care you gave her when her owner could no longer keep her - and then for caring for her through this last illness. God has given us the responsibility of life and death for our fur-children - entrusting to us their welfare. Saying goodbye is a hard decision to make - even when we know it releases our pets from pain to a life of full health again in Heaven. We are left to pay the price of love which leaves us brokenhearted - our souls torn apart with sorrow! It will take you time to heal from this emotional/spiritual `amputation` which is as painful as any surgical procedure. And for this there is no anaesthesia! But I can assure you that the pain of loss subsides with time and after many healing tears. Yogi is ever near you - loving her parent always.

Dear Rose, Thank you so much for sharing the information you did. I know you and your family loved Yogi immensely and this quick and devastating loss most have made you heartbroken. I have a lab/pit mix, but she looks a lot like your Yogi. I do hope that the sweet memories you have of Yogi will help your heart to heal. Blessings

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Yogi. Please find comfort in knowing that Yogi is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Yogi and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

I am so sorry for your loss of Yogi. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Yogi that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Yogi and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Yogi continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Dear Rose, my heartfelt condolences on Yogi's passing. She was a beautiful baby and I'm glad she got to live a happy and full life where she was deeply loved. It's hard to see our babies' quality of life deteriorate from illness and all we can do is try to make them as comfortable as possible. May it comfort you that Yogi's body has been full restored to her youthful form and she is happily running and playing with other furbabies, no more sickness or pain. Sending thoughts of peace and comfort to you during this difficult time.

Dear Rose, and all of Yogi's family, I am so terribly sorry for the passing of Yogi. What a wonderful life she had with you. (I think my dog is secretly annoyed with me whenever we pass a camper or a pick-up truck...) There is no greater breed than a pure mutt! And what a beautiful big girl she was! I feel as though I knew her, just by reading your touching tribute. It is obvious that she wanted to stay with you, and it appears as though she had a couple of paws in the meadow by Rainbow Bridge, and a couple here on earth; but her job here was done. I always think about the story of the little boy who was wondering why dogs don't live as long as we do, and he observed that the reason we are here is to learn lessons to be loving and kind. Dogs, he said, already knew how, and so they don't have to stay that long. I know he is right. You and Yogi are in my prayers. Good Girl, Yogi...

Rose, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Yogi. Yogi loves you for the warm, safe and loving home you gave her. She also wants you to know that she is pain free and without illness. I hope Yogi meets up with my Murphy who is also at the RB so they can run and play together in the warm sunshine.
