Debbie.. Yankee was such a Wonderful Kitty whom i've had the pleasure of knowing-feeding-playing with- and going for walks with! I am still feeling his absence! He stuck with you through thick and thin..was always there for you knowing you were disabled.Used to write you messeges walking across the keyboard when he needed attention!! His spirit still visits us on top of the kitchen cabinet! He wasn't just any ol Kitty...He was and still is your Yankee awaiting you at Rainbow Bridge!

Yankee - You have been a faithful companion to mom and she misses you so much! You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Debbie know that God has appointed you to be her guardian, protector to watch over her until she is called to join you at the Bridge. To Debbie - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Yankee. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Dear Debbie, what a wonderful blessing that Yankee came into your life and brought such love and happiness. It breaks our hearts when our precious little companions grow old and leave us for heaven's most beautiful meadow, but we must always know that our babies have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Sweet Yankee now plays with many new furfriends in heavenly sunshine. At night, Yankee rests with his friends beneath God's most beautiful stars and angels sing to them with love. I know this is true because both of my kitties are at the rainbow meadow, too. We will see our angel babies again someday. When we cross the rainbow bridge and they come running to greet us, we will be with them forever more. May precious memories bring healing to your heart and may God bless you with comfort and peace. I understand and care. Jane

Debbie, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Yankee and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Dear Debbie, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Yankee. What a sweet baby. He is now the brightest star in the sky above. He is truly an Angel, and now is your Guardian Angel watching over you from above. He is playing at Rainbow Bridge with all of his new friends . There he will wait patiently for you, until you are together again. My thoughts are with you at this time of sadness. I know your pain. I lost my Tiffany on 7/18/2011 from Cancer. I miss her every day....Cheryl

My Sidney was waiting on the bridge to welcome Yankee to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of how great their lives were. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Yankee the most, listen to your heart his love and paw print are there.

Hello Debbie, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Yankee. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce
