Hello there beautiful Xena, I was just visiting some of my babies here at the bridge and wanted to stop in to say hello to you. We too have had a hodge podge of rescue babies come through our home over the years, we have 11 here at rest now. But at my feet lays the first Boxer that we rescued at the age of 6 months, oh my goodness the love the wiggles the love of her humans....I could go on and on but your humans know that there is something very very special about that Boxer love. So today sweet Xena don't forget to send your Toni and Steve a very special sign to let them know you are with them always just inside their hearts and that you watch over them everyday from Heaven.

Toni and Steve, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Xena and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Dear Toni and Steve, what a wonderful blessing that Xena found you several years ago and became such a beloved and treasured part of your family. She's beautiful and precious in her picture and I am sure that she brought much love and happiness to you every day she was with you. Now sweet Xena brings joy and love to her many new furfriends at the rainbow meadow. She is happy and well and playing like a puppy in heavenly sunshine. My two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, were there to welcome Xena to the rainbow meadow and there's no doubt my kitties have fallen in love with your Xena. We will see our babies again someday, never to be parted for all of eternity. Blessings of healing and peace, dear friends. You were, and always will be, a wonderful family for Xena and for all of the fur babies you love and care for. Please know that I understand and care. Jane

Dear Toni and Steve, Zena wants you to know that she is as close to you as your next heartbeat. "I love you guys and guess what...I have a whole lot of squeak toys here and I like my new duckie the best. I wonder if you know that I still come to snuggle with you guys but you just can't see me. That day you took me to the vet you set me free bit only part of me left. My body is gone but my spirit is with you always." I have written a true pet story of eternal love called The Tale of Wisdom and Delight. It will be out in e-book form on Solstice Books later this month and in soft cover in July. I hope you will find hope and inspiration the words that I have written from my own heart for anyone who has ever loved a pet. Warm and heartfelt wishes, Mari LaFore

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Xena to her new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Xena the most, listen to your heart her love and paw print are there.

Xena - You are so cute in your picture! I bet that sun was in your eyes! You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Toni and Steve know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to join you at the Bridge. To Toni and Steve - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Xena. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Dear toni and Steve xena looks so dear and goofy. I was laughing at her cat discovery and saddened to learn of the shortness of her life. Her life was filled with your love and devotion. I have had an aggressive. Foster dalmatian and I appreciate how difficult and potentionally dangerousthe situation can be. You made the most loving kind and responsible decision. I am sorry that you and xena had to go thru that painful process. She is at peace and safe. Thank you for adopting this precious soul and giving her a family of her own and the best years of her life. You and xena are in my heart thoughts. Prayers and hopes as you grieve her passing and hon or the life of a very good girl. My best jule
