Hello there Xander, I was just visiting some of my babies here at the bridge and came across you. It always makes my heart happy to see that another human has opened their hearts and lives to a beautiful soul that others mistreated. On the other hand I am sure your human can say, as I do that you guys give us so much more than we give to you. Take care Xander and enjoy your time in heaven. If you get a chance in all your play look up my Princess, Kaizer, Maddie, Old Girl, Belinda Sue, Buddy, Scooby and Lucky Girl they will show you all the cool places to play up there and you can share silly stories of your humans here on earth.

My sincere condolence for the loss of your sweet Xander in Oct. 2011. My sweet baby Barney went to heaven 2/15/12 just over a week ago. I miss him so ver much. I'm so thankful that my husband found Rainbow Bridge for me where we can all find comfort with others that have lost a beloved pet and how much pain and loss we all feel. Your memories are truly beautiful. Please find comfort that one day we will all be together again. Take care.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Dear Christie and Ted, what a beautiful love story. I have tears in my eyes as I write because the love between both of you and Xander and Buttons is beyond wonderful. What a blessing that you found them, saved them and took them in to your home. And now, sweet Xander has gone on to the most beautiful heavenly meadow where he has made so many new furfriends, including my two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou. I know the sorrow of losing a precious little companion to illness but we must always remember that our babies have gone to a happy place where they are very young and well again. Sweet Xander now plays like a puppy in heavenly sunshine. Our babies know that they will be reunited with their earthly parents someday. When we cross the bridge and they come running to greet us, we will be with them forever more. Hello Christie & Ted, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Xander. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life.
