I am so very, very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Wolfie. What a beautiful tribute you have written. What a majestic dog he is in his picture. How courageous you were to be with him when he passed over the Bridge. I, too, lost my beloved Wolfie on 12/17/09. His residency is at: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/WOLFI006/Resident.htm. Unfortunately, I did not make it to the vet in time he was so sick. Then I lost my husband in March of 2010. Life can be so very sad. My prayers are with you both. Karen

Bert and Jan, I just visited Wolfie's residency here and wanted to leave a note in his guestbook. I see I'm a few days late for his 1 year anniversary. This is such a beautiful tribute. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I hope that the pain has lessened some over the year as you recall your many happy memories of Wolfie. God Bless.

Thank you Robert. Our hearts are still tender from our loss, eyes still watery when we reflect, which we do often. Sometimes there is no getting over a loss of such a loved one, only hope of reuniting. Kind words from other fur baby lovers help. Yours are much appreciated.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Bert & Janet..Wolfie could not have had a better Mom and Dad to care for him as you did. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know Woflie is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join him on the Bridge. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

My condolences on losing Wolfie. I can tell he was very special to you. I'm sure that the privelege of helping him through his physical challenges made your relationship especially close, but that also makes it all the harder to lose them. My boy Brandon also had a "doggie wheelchair" the last two years of his life. He crossed the Bridge on Sept 29th, just a couple weeks before Wolfie. I had to carry Brandon sometimes, too. If you want to visit Brandon, his address is http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BRAND284/Resident.htm
