Hi Wendy and Winnie. Sorry, we were the ones from Rainbow Bridge and we had a few emails, after our boys - Benji and Louie died and we signed Winnie's guest book, back in 2016. Hope time has helped heal your pain over Winnie. We still find our loss is hard to bear and there isn't a day foes by without our babes, popping into our minds. Such is the love of a Cavalier. I'm sure that it is the same for you, too. We find that despite making vows to 'move on', what we had, as a family, just won't go away. Glad you enjoyed the card, we were hoping you'd recall the name. We thought that at Christmas time, you might have had a few sad memories, too. Our Boyz used to love opening their gifts (well, ripping the packages to shreds), under the tree. Just another of the things we really miss about out babes. Hope your winter isn't too cold, warmest regards, Mary & Andy

Hi Wendy, so sorry to read about your beloed Winnie. We lost our Louie (also a cav at Rainbow) in July and it's still very painful to even thiink about it, so we understand your pain. We will pray for you and Winnie, that peace will find you and, over time, will heal the wounds. Winnie looked so sweet, you must be devastated. Warmest Rainbow hugs to you.

Hello Wendy, As you reflect on memories of your beautiful Winnie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

I am so sorry for your loss of Winnie. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Winnie that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Winnie and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Winnie continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep. I could see that you were crying, You found it hard to sleep. I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear, "It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here." I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea, You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me. I was with you at the shops today, Your arms were getting sore. I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more. I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care. I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there. I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key. I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said " it's me." You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there. It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday. To say to you with certainty, "I never went away." You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Winnie. Please find comfort in knowing that Winnie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Winnie and my babies have all become good friends. Hello, pretty Winnie, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase rainbows and balls and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind to Mommy...signs to brothers, too!...so she feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy always, beloved sweet Winnie. Pressy's Grandpa

I'm sorry for the loss of your Winnie. What a beautiful girl. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I lost my Rocky last month.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Winnie is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when she needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. She's having a ball with her new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope she's met my boys by now.Finn is a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and Rocky is the sweetest gentle giant. If you would care to visit my boys http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Rocky303/Resident.htm

For sweet Winnie, I know that during your lifetime you gave Wendy much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Wendy wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Winnie I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Wendy, I just visited Winnie's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Winnie would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Winnie. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)

Wendy- Every Cavalier brings royalty to the Bridge and your beautiful tribute to sweet Winnie revealed just how many lives she had touched. I am so very sorry for your loss and have left a satin pillow on one of the many benches around the lake for blissful napping, as she reigns forever in your heart.

Dear Helen, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Winnie. She was such a beautiful Girl and obviously deeply loved. You gave her such a wonderful life. It is not easy losing our loving Furbabies. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share with you this poem that was read during Princess Diana's Funeral. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Winnie will continually provide you with comfort, She will always live in your heart and memories forever. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CHEST037/Resident.htm. Sending love and light, Nelson

Dear Winnie, you are truly beautiful. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy and all your family who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Wendy, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Winnie is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Winnie will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM
