I happened apon this site just today. I was curious if anyone else lost their cat Wesley as well. Your story is very similar to my baby kitty's story. 11 years too young. Loved being an only child. He also got a baby sister after he passed away...I cried the whole time reading your story. I am so happy to have been able to see it and the updates over the years! It just never gets easier does it. <3

I am sorry for your loss of your beloved Wesley.. Just wanted to say that Wesley has choosen his new sister ( Cloe ) to be with you today. He knows the all the love you gave him and wanted you to share that the with her. He knows you will never stop loving him, just your love will only grow stronger. He dosen't want you to be sad about him being gone. He says he is missing you and waits for the day for all of you will be together.. He knows you are Happy and will love and spoil her just like he was. Remember love does ever go away, just get put in a safe place...

Deb, thanks for signing Floppy and Holly's guestbook again. I love the new picture of Wesley. What a handsome guy! I hope he has met Floppy (and Holly), too, on Rainbow Bridge. I can see the 3 of them playing, young and happy again. I know that doesn't exactly ease our pain, but it does help a bit. We have to believe that we will see these lovely kitties again. Our love should reunite us all on Rainbow Bridge.

what a handsome fellow you are Wesley. My own furbaby Caleb is one of many that helped welcome you to this wondrous little paradise where all things are possible. I too had to make decision to send caleb off to Heaven as his kidneys failed and i lost him in one day, leaving behind a shattered life, but now knowing that once more you and all his buddies share renewed health and youth as we furbaby parenst share Hope and friendships. There is a saying here that if you hold a butterfly in the palm of your hand, whisper a wish then set it free, that butterfly will carry those wishes to the spirits, and if you look into your rainbow sky Wesley, you will see you are surrounded by hundreds of floating colors --those are our happy wishes to all of you.You are a most gorgeous little Guardian Angel now,and free to run with the wind, or float to the end of your rainbow where you can send the warmth of your eternal and spiritual love showering down to your family. Sweet Wesley, how beautiful and precious you are! I know your mommy loves you and misses you so much, just like I love and miss my baby Arnold. I hope you meet up with him up there at Rainbow's Bridge. He's a great friend and playmate to have, and he'll watch over you and keep you company. To Debbie & Kenny: You have my deepest, most sincere sympathies on your loss. Like you, I had to make that extremely difficult decision to have Arnold put to sleep to end his suffering. He was old and arthritic and he had entered kidney failure. It broke my heart. He was my little bundle of love of joy for 17 years, and the pain of his absence is tough to bear. But it helps to know that he's no longer in pain, and he can run and play in Heaven. I hope you'll take comfort in knowing that you are not alone and in the fact that your Wesley is in a beautiful, happy place, without pain and without sorrow, and that someday you will be reunited with him, never to be parted again. My prayers are with you.

Wesley - You are one cute, smart little ball of fur! I am so sorry to be late in writing to you and your mom, but I have had internet and phone problems. Send your mom some kisses from the Rainbow to let her know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends to play with. Let Debbie know that you have met up with Grandpa (Debbie's dad) and that both of you have been appointed by God to be her guardian, protectors to watch over her until she is called to the Bridge one day to join you. My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so.
