I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Truman. Please find comfort in knowing that Truman is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Truman and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Staci, I sent a poem to you from Stuttgart. I hope you find it comforting. To all of you:you are in my thoughts and have been everyday while I was traveling in Europe. Staci, I am so sorry that you are having such a difficult time. I am familiar with your intense grief, because Judith goes through the same devastation with the loss of her pets. If the two of you could talk, or chat, maybe you could receive comfort. She is already dreading Ashley's passing, because he is getting older, and so is Shy Ann. As for my boy, I still think of him everyday. When I look at certain pics we when were both so happy together, I still cry. But it feels good to me to cry for him. It is a release and a reconnection. I still want him back. We were always together, even took him to work at the ballet. He was special, like Truman. I wish I could have seen Truman before his passing. I love all of the pics you posted.I see all of the people who care. Take refuge and open yourself to all of the love.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of your best bud. What wonderful memories you have of him. He was a loving, slobbery kissing, booty scooting, mischevious, kind of boy but most of all he loved you all unconditionally and will forever be in your hearts.

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your beloved Truman. I laughed out loud when I read the story of his life. What an imp. I hope the memories you have of your time together help to ease the pain of your loss.

Dear sweet Mapes Family, We are heart broken to hear of Truman's passing, what a sweet dog he was. We will never forget the many greetings we had from him as we entered your home and how he was just part of the family and whatever festivities were happening. What a blessed life that "big lug" had and what a blessing it was to have so many people love him. We adored all his slobbery kisses and wow how that dog could light up a room with his "essence" We will forever treasure all of our special memories spent with that sweet pup. We will continue to lift you all in prayer and please know just how much you all are loved and how dearly missed sweet Truman will be. BIG hugs to our dear friends during this time, The Davis Family

Jim,Staci and Aynsley. What touching words of tribute. I am so very sorry that Truman had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. One of my best friends and companion of 16 years, Willy, went to the bridge in January. My tears still flow when I think of him. I know though, that he and Willy are probably playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. I know Willy loved the sunshine and I hope that he does too. I truly believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I have left an extra angel to look over Truman, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always with ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. I would love for you to visit Willy at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/WILLY010/Resident.HTM

Hello, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Truman Mapes. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, in time we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. I lost my Zander July 2008; please take comfort in knowing that we will one day be together again with our beautiful companions; I have attached Zander's link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

JIm, Stacai, Aynsley and Hudson, I just visited Truman Mapes. I know the pain of losing a beloved pet. I lost my precious Bichon, Amor July 1, 2010. Its getting easier, but I still miss her and think of her everyday. I hope soon you'll all smile as you remember the love and joy Truman gave you so freely. Please visit Amor at Rainbow Bridge to see my little girl. Take care, God bless. Eleanor http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/AMOR001/Resident.htm

Truman - You were an important member of the family and you were also a great companion and confidante! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, healthy, happy, and will have many friends. Let mom and dad know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over all until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Jim, Staci, Aynsley and Hudson - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Truman. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown
