Nicole/Brad, I'm so sorry for your loss. Travis is at peace and is now an angel in heaven. I recently loss my beloved Carshion and I understand the void we feel after losing our beloved pets. Travis & Carshion are our fur-angels in rainbow meadows. For Beautiful Travis, Rest in peace, your family created a loving memorial for you here at Rainbow Bridge and they miss you very much. Let them know that your love, bond & memory lives on for eternity. Take sweet care until we all meet beyond the clouds. I left a catnip plant as a symbol that your spirit continues to flower. From Carshion's mom. Feel free to visit my beloved Carshion's memorial at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/CARSH001/Resident.htm

Dear Brad & Nikki, my condolences on Travis' passing. You certainly kept him going all those years. Thank you for rescuing him and giving him a happy life. Be comforted that your 3 musketeers are happily reunited again and one day you will get to see them. I enjoyed reading about Travis and what a wonderful companion he turned out to be. Blessings, Rose

Hi, Nicole and Brad! Thank you so much for the privilege of learning about the awesome life you shared with your friend Travis the kitty, who died. Not only did you have a blast together- with other kitty friends past, and survivors of Travis who no doubt miss him as much as you do- but you've also been a foster family! There's so much love in what you wrote about life with Travis, and I know nothing can take his place or take away the sadness since he died. But it's clear what a treasure trove of great memories you have made. I was touched by your story about learning how to treat Travis' diabetes- I think you are brave and I know he was so grateful that you were able to help him stay happy and healthy with you for so much longer. I hope happy reminiscence of Travis will come to you sooner than later, as you grieve. With empathy, Megan Philadelphia, PA with Dexter "Big Essie," Bernese mountain dog

Nicole & Brad, You do have `a gift with words` moving me to tears as I read your memories of Travis! All my cats were rescued - later pigeons - who passed last December. So I understand the deep pain of grief - especially at Christmas which is a time for families (including fur/feather-children) to be together. Thank you for giving this needy kitten with 1 & 1/2 ears a loving home. So often rescued cats develop health problems due to their poor start in life. He was so blessed you were able to deal with his on-going diabetes. I know how affectionate rescued cats and birds can be. They are very special - leaving a deep hole in our hearts when they leave us - that no other animal can fill: because they are all unique in their personalities - and love for us - unconditional and enduring forever. I am aware of my loved cats and birds inspiring me over the years and know that Travis will be there for you in a similar way. His loving spirit will never leave you in this life or the next.
