Kathryn, I was reading your beautiful memoirs and diaries of Teddy. He was a very lucky boy to have had you as his mum. My Buddy (Maltese) passed 2 weeks ago today from Cancer and he was way too young at eight. There is a photo of Teddy where I did a double take because he looked so much like my Buddy. I hope they become friends because I think they have a lot in common and could be really good mates.

I am so sorry to hear about your recent loss of Teddy. Please find comfort in knowing that Teddy is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. kathryn, My heart bleeds for you. I so know what you are going thru. We lost our beloved simba a week and a half ago. I cry every day. I miss her so much,. she was 100 pounds of the most gentlest loving dog ever. I feel like a big part of my heart was ripped out. I hope they are playing together and wishing we were not so sad. Simba always kissed me when I cried and if I close my eyes I can feel her. Please know you are not alone and your baby will always be there in your heart. No one can take that away. Good morning, sweet Teddy what a beautiful angel you are. While reading your mommy’s loving tribute I can certainly feel her pain. I too lost my beloved dog and like your mommy I know that once you loved your best friend so intensively and then lost him, it is so hard to come to acceptance that you have left. We must realise that you, my Puck and all other babies were God’s privilege, his very special gift to us all. Deep inside we had been both aware that one day we were going to lose the most important beings in our lives. We also knew that your loss would tear us apart and that we will stay hurt for the rest of our lives. But that's the nature of Love and I believe your mommy and I are more than willing to pay the price we are paying now. Rest well, beautiful doggie, and say hello to my Puck.

Hello Teddy...how are you today? Your mommy wrote the most beautiful story about you. And she misses you SO much. Will you send her some smooches so she knows you are OK? Your mommy may NOT see your cutie pie face anymore but I know she can feel your presence around her. And I know that your spirit lives on in her heart. There is a large group of Rotties to your left. Go to them & ask for URSA. She loves kitties & small doggies. She will make sure that you are safe & warm. And since they were taught well, they will share their food, water, beds & snacks with you. My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

To precious Teddy, a new angel at the Rainbow ... I can just see you now taking walks in the apple orchards there at your new home, finding the very best ones to eat as a snack... And somehow I just know you've had a chance to look around for the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored doggie naps, too, haven't you... And each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that your family has actually helped make it shine a little brighter. How? With their tears, sweet baby. Each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you...
