Molly, I am so sorry for your loss of sweet Sushi. The story of how Sushi immediately opened up to you at the sight of mealworms is precious! Just know that Sushi is happily watching over you, jamming to Jason Mraz, and snacking on some boiled chicken and mealworms. I hope you are doing well, and I wish you the best.❤️

My hedgie crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. Reading this made my heart feel warm. Sushi sounds a lot like my Chandler. They’re up there munching on mealworms together now❤️

Hello Sushi, I was just visiting some of my babies here at the bridge and came across you. What a beauty you are. I hope that you are laying in the warm sunshine and playing with all the others at the edge of the bridge. Don't forget to send your Molly a very special sign to let her know you are with her always no matter how much time may pass, just inside her heart.

As a new hedgie mommy, I came across this after seeing your comment about Sushi on the Hedgehog Happenings page about how her pictures were blurry. I went to see her facebook page and I ended up here. I am so sorry for your loss. I'm so glad Sushi got to spend her life with a great mommy like you. These little critters are so delicate and their lives are so fragile. I'm glad you got to cuddle with her one last time.

Dear Sushi, Please join us this Christmas Eve as we celebrate Christmas. There will be a Program on Christmas Eve by the lake and every one will be a part of the program. There is a nightly choir practice so all can learn all of the wonderful songs of Christmas. There will also be a speech, for those that don't know, about the meaning of Christmas. Please come and join us. I am sending you a beautiful Christmas tree to place outside your house. If your family below looks very carefully, they might be able to see your little tree sparkle on Christmas Eve. They will be think about you that night as they do every night. Take care little one. If you would like to join the family, just ask for Jake. He is an older dog, but a very very kind soul. He and the rest of the family will be happy to take you to the choir practices. Sincerely, Gloria and the RBB family.

Molly, your little Sushi is so beautiful and precious in the picture. What a wonderful blessing that sweet Sushi came into your life, bringing love and happiness to your heart and home every day. Though it breaks our hearts when our furbabies leave us for heaven's most beautiful meadow, we must always know that they have gone to a happy place. Sushi now romps with joy in a new world full of love and fun. We will be reunited with all of our furbabies at the rainbow bridge someday. Blessings of healing and peace, dear friend. I understand and care. Jane

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Sushi to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Sushi the most, listen to your heart, his love is there.

Molly, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Sushi and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

How pretty Sushi was, Molly. It sounded in your written memories that you and she really enjoyed your time together. I'm sure she knew you loved her. It's hard for we humans to realize our pets' lifespans are generally shorter than ours. That means there's pain at the end for us. But, at some point you will be thinking about Sushi with more smiles than tears . . . and who knows, maybe there'll be a Sashimi in your life! All the best thoughts to you.

Hello Molly, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Sushi. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm
