Hello, Precious Girl, it's just Mommy again. By now, people tell me it should be getting easier. It's not. I still miss you like it was yesterday. You, my angel, are unforgettable. I know I'll see you again. How do I wait?! It's not like I don't have Patrick & Meghan & their Daddy & our Grandbabies. But I miss YOU, too!! I've had furbabies all my life, but none who dug themselves so deeply into my heart as you. Chihuahuas are supposed to be a one person baby. You didn't know that. You made your Grandmother(who never liked furbabies---I didn't understand it, either). She loved you!! We all loved you. I don't think I'll get over missing you until I see you again I love you more than words Your Mommy

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Steenky. Please find comfort in knowing that Steenky is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Steenky and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

It still hurts just as bad as it did the day you left. I never believed you would have to leave us. It was just so fast. One minute you were there, the next you were gone. I don't know how to stop missing you. I know I never will. There's a hole in my heart that can never be filled by anyone else. I can hardly bear to look at another baby doggie because she's not you. Maybe one day I'll grow up and learn to deal, but right now I just want you back. I put some flowers for you and some of your favorite treats. I will love you and miss you every day of my life, my Steenky girl. All my love, your mama

Oh Steenky you are a cutie pie. You must have been the apple of so many peoples eyes. The life of the party, the real show stopper. What joy you brought to your family, and all that got to know you. While you are having so much fun at the bridge, I hope you take a minute to visit mom and dad in their dreams and send puppy nose kisses to them. Let them know how much you miss them and will always love them. They love and miss you so much, and probably always will. Someday I know you will be reunited with your family at the bridge. My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Dear Patrick, I am so sorry for your loss. I'm sure that Steenky McGee was a wonderful friend and companion, holding a special place within your Heart. We will light a candle and speak a blessing for Steenky McGee and your family at Monday's Candlelighting Ceremony, to help illuminate Rainbow Bridge for Steenky McGee (and any other furmates you may have also lost). Perhaps our Furbabies (we are also hurting, with our sudden loss of B.K. Sylvester on 1/14/09) will find a Wonderful, Happy Place at the Bridge to play together. During this time of heartache and mixed feelings, may your pain ease in the days to come, and may you hold your dear Furbaby deep within your Hearts Forever... A world of Furry Hugs to you, Randall & Paul B.K. Sylvester: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BKSYL001/Resident.htm

Hey big bro. I miss our little weasle more than I ever thought possible. I'm glad we were all together when she went. I know she is happy and healthy waiting for us to join her again, and I know she misses you as much as we all miss her. I love you!

Welcome to the Bridge! I know you're busy making friends, romping around playing, and laughing so hard you just can't stand it, but don't forget to take the time to let your family know you're okay and thank them for the wonderful life they gave you...

I am Patrick's mama, and I want to thank all of you so much for the outpouring of love you have sent. We will always miss our Baby Girl, but it does help to know that someday we will see her again. To all who have lost a loved one, my sympathy goes out to you. I have never loved another Pet like I will always love Steenky. She was Patrick's girl and he was her boy, but she loved other people,too--just not as much as her boy. He was her pride and joy and she was his. I pray for grace and peace and healing to all who have lost such a special family member. She will live in our hearts forever.

Welcome to the bridge Steenky McGee...how are you today? What a name for such a cutie pie. You are going to make many friends. And there's so much for you to do. You get to chase bunnies, butterflies & take long naps in the sun. Isn't that great? And if you get scared, go to that large group of rotties to your left & ask for Ursa...she loves tiny doggies. And don't worry about the others...they are big love bugs. Make sure you send your daddy lots of smooches so he knows you are OK. To Patrick...we are sorry for your loss. It's never easy letting our babies leave us but we do because we love them so very much. Hold your memories close to your heart until you see your precious Steenky again. http://RainbowsBridge.com/Residents/URSA001/resident.htm

To precious Steenky, a new angel at the Rainbow... I can just see you now with your feather-soft guardian angel wings, watching over your family back here. And I just know by now you've had a chance to look around for the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored afternoon naps, haven't you... And each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that all those who loved you back here have actually helped make it shine a little brighter. How? With their tears, sweet baby. Each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could your family have ever wished for you? What more could have ever been wished.......from Karen/Dusty and DJ's mom

Steenky - What a cute "panter" you are and I know you melted your dad's heart! Send him some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let him know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Patrick know that God has appointed you to be his guardian, protector to watch over him until he is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Patrick - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss or Steenky. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown
