Spunky - You meant so much to your family! I am sorry I have not written sooner, but I have been ill. You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let John and Elaine know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to join you at the Bridge. To John and Elaine - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Bailey. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Dear John and Elaine, he's beautiful and precious in his picture. What a wonderful blessing that sweet Spunky came into your lives many years ago and became such a beloved family member. My kitty, Inky, was also born in 1995 but left for heaven's most beautiful meadow last year. We must always know that our babies have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Spunky now plays like a puppy in heavenly sunshine, romping with joy in a new world full of love and fun. Our rainbow babies know that they will be reunited with their earthly families someday. I wish you blessings of healing and peace, dear friends. And blessings to all of the furbabies who now share your heart and home. I understand and care. Jane

Hello John & Elaine, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Spunky. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

John and Elaine, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Spunky, Sassy, Sissy and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

John and Elaine, I know so well how difficult it is having to physically part from our loving furry-Gifts. It is a heart-ache like no other - it is the loyal committed existence of unconditional love that fosters only within these fur-babies which gives reason to the immense grief that is felt and we need to go through. It is good to grieve well, and that you are doing - the writing is good for this and will embrace and protect the strong bond as Spunky settles in the heavens of the Rainbow Bridge. Although you don't see him in those special places you've been used to and for all those years you loved him so dearly, you will without doubt feel the presence of Spunky more often than you might expect - especially given the immense love you have for him. Be on the look out for Spunky in your dreams, because it is in this realm he is likely to 'show you' that he's very close and doing just fine. Warmest Blessings, Always

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Spunky to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Spunky the most listen to your heart, his love is there.

For sweet Spunky, I know that during your lifetime you gave John and Elaine much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Spunky I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For John and Elaine, I just visited Spunky's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for you loss. In January I lost my little boy Pedro so I think I understand how you must be feeling. All the best to both of you, always, Rosalind

Spunky, you are so gorgeous! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mama and daddy who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. John and Elaine, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Spunky is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually hug your hearts until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM
