Lisa..Spice is a beautiful girl.....a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. She is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge, they are gone from our site but never forgotten. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Lisa, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Spice. She is protective as she is beautiful. Know that the love you have in your heart is a mirror reflection of how she feels for you. Even though she has transitioned over, she is still with you because the bond you have can never be broken.

Dear Lisa, my condolences on the passing of your sweet girl, Spice. Our pets bring us so much love and comfort that the loss we feel can be hard to bear. Maybe that is why your precious angel brought you another fur-baby to share your love with. May the fond memories of Spice always bring a smile to your heart. Blessings, Rose

Lisa, Whether your beloved Spice passed a year or a few days ago the pain still takes time to heal - which varies from person to person - and no one can dictate to you how long your mourning should last. We at Rainbow Bridge understand and feel for your grief as we have all lost beloved fur/feather-children. I can promise you healing comes - but often very slowly. I am glad that Peanut is there to bring you comfort as only a fur-child can. As a rescuer of many other animals you clearly have a deep connection with and a special love for them. Such love-bonds continue in Heaven where they will live new and full lives with us who are their parents: each leaving their individual mark on us - enriching us as only a fur/feather child can do. So each loss is specific and hurts in a different way. It is good to cry for Spice as tears are healing - expressing what we are unable to say in words. May you be aware that the spirit of your beloved baby girl is always with you - ever your co-pilot.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Spice. Please find comfort in knowing that Spice is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Spice and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Hi Lisa, How brave you are, Honey. The pictures that you posted of Spice are absolutely adorable! And I so relate to your feelings of Spice being your co-pilot. I have always referred to my Golden as my "sidekick", and I know that you received that same devotion from your Spice. No matter how many pets we've cared for and loved, they are all one of a kind, and our hearts are never immune for the huge sense of loss we feel when they have to leave their physical bodies. If you haven't already, please come to the Monday night candle-lighting ceremony. It is so beautiful and so healing to pray for and with other mommies and daddies. I will pray for you, for your baby Peanut, and of course for Spice. Good Girl, Spice! Well done!

So sorry for the loss, of your furbaby, it is always hard to lose a good friend. May your days of pain and adjustment be short, and your memories of your baby bring you peace and love. No more pain or suffering for our furbabies, only sunshine and lots of new friends. Soon you will all be together again and going over the rainbow together, which is where your lives’ really begin. I know when my Angel passed it was really hard and still is eve now. Take advantage of the Services offered at Rainbow Bridge they really help. God Bless you

Dear Lisa, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Spice. She was a beautiful girl and obviously deeply loved. You gave her a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experienced and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Spice will continually provide you with comfort, she will forever live in your hearts and memories. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CHEST037/Resident.htm. Sending love and light, Nelson

Lisa- 'Sugar and SPICE and everything nice--that's what special dogs are made of.' It may not be exactly how you recall that passage from childhood, although after reading your moving tribute to your best friend, it ought to be! Your special girl looked after you throughout her lifetime and now Peanut is continually enriching your soul with endless love and companionship. No one can ever take the place of Spice and welcoming joy never betrays your friend's memory. Honor. Celebrating. Remembering...a life well lived. I've added a brick to the paw-lined path to Rainbow Bridge in memory of your co-pilot in life and beyond.

Spice I am sorry for your loss. Lisa loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

Dear Spice, you are truly beautiful. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mom who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Lisa, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Spice, along with your other precious ones, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May their sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Spice and the others will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

For Lisa, I just visited your Spice's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Spice would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Spice. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
