"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this blessed season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during the Holidays. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Spanky bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...God bless, and best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

I am so sorry. What a great tribute to Spanky. Nothing will ever fill the void she left, we just get used to it.

Laura, I love the pictures of your babies. As a volunteer here at Rainbow Bridge, I don't believe I've ever seen two more precious furbabies. What a wonderful blessing that sweet Spanky came into your life many years ago and became such a beloved companion and family member. I know the sorrow in saying goodbye to a precious furbaby, but we must always know that they go to a heavenly place where they are young and well again. Sweet Spanky now plays like a puppy in a new world full of love and fun. My two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, the lights of my life, were there to welcome Spanky and I am sure our babies have become the best of friends. We will be reunited with our furry little angels at the rainbow bridge someday. Blessings of healing and peace, Laura. And blessings to the furbabies who now share your heart and home. I understand and care. Jane

To precious Spanky, a new angel at the Rainbow... I’m sure that with your new feather-soft guardian angel wings, you now so lovingly watch over your family back here. And I just know, too, that you’ve found the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored doggy-naps, haven't you... May butterflies grace your dreams as you sleep… And may each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that Laura and all those who loved you back here have helped make it shine a little brighter for you. How? With their tears, sweet baby. You see, each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could have ever been wished for you? What more could have ever been wished...Rest well, little one.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Spanky. Please find comfort in knowing that Spanky is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Spanky and Spooky have become good friends. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Laura, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Spanky and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Spanky to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Spanky the most listen to your heart his love is there.

Hello Laura, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Spanky. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

I am very sorry for the loss of your Spanky. Its so hard to loose someone you love. There never seems to be enough time. Its so rare that we get to experience true unconditional love. Sounds like you have. Spanky is keeping an eye on you from the bridge. Please know that you are not alone. What a pretty girl Spanky was, and how sad you had to lose her. We're left grieving when our pets predecease us -- if only their lives were longer! Perhaps one day you'll be able to think of Spanky more with smiles than tears. She'd like that.
