Visiting you will never be the same without Ms Sophia either watching us as we sit at the table or with her back to us, letting us wonder if we have somehow insulted her. She was truly an extraordinary creature. RIP Sophia - you will be missed.

Irene, how gorgeous. I am so very sorry that Sophia had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. One of my best friends and companion of 16 years, Willy, went to the bridge in January. My tears still flow when I think of him. I know though, that Sophia and Willy are probably playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. I know Willy loved the sunshine and I hope that she does too. I truly believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I have left an extra angel to look over Sophia, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always with ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. I would love for you to visit Willy at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/WILLY010/Resident.HTM

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your beloved Sophia. It's strange how when they've left us, how we miss the stuff that used to annoy us. I hope that the memories you have of your time together help to ease the pain of your loss.

Irene, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Sophia and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Irene--what a beautiful girl. She came to you in an unusual way just like our Ralphie did, and they have very similar colors. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know Sophia is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and friends while waiting for us to join them on the Bride. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Hello Irene, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Sophia. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

Dear Irene, she's so very beautiful in every way. Your words warmed my heart because it's so easy to see how much Sophia was loved and how much love she gave you in return. I know the sadness and heartbreak of losing a precious little soulmate. Both of my kitties went to the rainbow meadow two weeks apart after blessing my life for many years. We must remember that our babies go to a place where they are young and well again. Sweet Sophia is happy and well, and playing in heaven's sunshine with many new furfriends. My Inky and Bubba Lou were there to welcome Sophia to the meadow and I just know they have become good friends. We will see our babies at the bridge someday. To us, it will seem like an eternity, but to them, it's the blink of an eye and the flip of a tail. May precious memories bring healing to your heart and may God bless you with comfort and peace. I understand and care.

Sophia - You do have an aire of regal personality, and you seem to make your decisions known to others and they agree with you! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Irene know that God has appointed you to be her guardian, protector to watch over her until she is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Irene - I send my sincere sympathy to you over the loss of Sophia. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Sophia, you are purrfectly beautiful! Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Irene, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Sophia, the Grand Duchess, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM
