I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Shmitty. Please find comfort in knowing that Shmitty is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. 8/20/2021 - I miss you so much Shmitty. I remember how you would choose q-tips over toys every single time, you were such a silly kitty. Mama thinks of you every single day. It eats at me that I never was able to say goodbye to you. I would give anything in the world to see your sweet face when you would've seen me again after all that time we had been away. But now, it will be in a different way. My heart aches, it hasn't stopped aching since you've gone. I've been trying to stay strong without you but my dear, it is so difficult. I hope you know that I would do everything for you all over again without a second thought. I wish I could kiss your little soft head one more time. I'm missing a piece of my heart.
