Rest In Peace to the sweetest(and stinkiest) little dog who left behind lots of loving memories. I’ll never forget the way he’d get stuck on his butt trying to sit up, how adorable he looked in a life jacket while swimming, or his horrendous farts that could easily clear a room! We all will miss you so much Skips, thanks for all the good times.

Megan and family... I am so sorry for the loss of your best friend and precious fur child.. I found a poem for you.. 'A good dog never dies. He always stays. He walks beside you on crisp Autumn days when frost is on the fields and winter's drawing near. His head is within our hand in his old way.' Godspeed sweet Skippy...what a GOOD dog you are!(((hugs)))

Dear Skippy, You have brought so much joy to many people’s lives over the years. You definitely made an impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing you. We met when I was 8 years old. We have been on many adventures together, taught each other lessons and grew up together. You were like a brother to me. Though I wish we had more time together, I know you lived a long happy life, full of adventures, love, good food, family and friends. May your adventures in the next life bring you everything you always wanted. Your spirit will always be with me. I love you. -Sky

Skippy, you will be sorely missed by your human tribe. You were so loved and cherished. I have heard many tales about you and your hunting and digging prowess. I got to meet you once on Halloween. You were taking your job of protecting your family very seriously. Alas, you weren’t able to stop me from getting candy. You were a wonderful boy and though they are very sad they feel very blessed to have had you in their lives for many years. I am sure that my kitty Comet will stop by and check in on you. She thought she was a dog so maybe you can enjoy a game of fetch together. On dark nights I will look up at the stars. I know that one of the brightest ones will be a special Skippy star. Though I am sure there are potatoes galore for you to dig, please do not drop one on your family. Instead, see if you can find a feather to drop. Humans like that kind of stuff. To your fur mom, Megan, I am so sorry that your beloved Skippy is no longer with you. Sending you comforting hugs.

Megan: You have written a beautiful memorial page for the love of your life, Skippy, your co-pilot. May every wonderful memory you've shared always be a source of comfort in your time of need. Simply walking through his lifetime is the greatest gift you could have given him. And for that, he has become your guardian angel watching over you from beyond the Rainbow. Please accept my heartfelt condolences in your time of need.

Skippy was my brother and friend for such a long time. We endured so many tough times and celebrated so many happy times. He was so strong, independent, stubborn, and gracious. We always found a way to do things his way, and it was always the right way. Skippy could lay around and sleep like a champ and always made a great napping buddy. But on the other hand, he could walk for miles and made a worthy tug-of-war opponent. It’s terribly sad that there is now an empty space where he once was, but I’m so happy that I got to spend such a long time with him while he was here. Skippy, you were amazing while you were here, and I hope you enjoy your new other-worldly adventures. Keep on digging. ❤️

That was a beautiful memorial to Skippy. Pets give 100% of their affection and are miracle workers when needed to give comfort. I have no doubt that he will be happy in Dog Heaven.

Hello, handsome Skippy, welcome to Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Your family loves and misses you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to help welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you kitty love headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so your family feels your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come for you one day to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at your family so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over your family always, beloved sweet Skippy. Pressy's Grandpa

For sweet Skippy, I know that during your lifetime you gave Megan much joy. Now I am wishing you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and at the beautiful residency that Megan created just for you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Skippy, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Megan, I just visited your Skippy's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Skippy would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Skippy. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).

Dear Skippy, you are truly gorgeous. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mom who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Megan, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Skippy is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Jackie, Callie, Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet presence continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Skippy will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Jackie at https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/JACKI010/resident.HTM
