Ann and Roger, your boy Skeezix Joe seemed like such a delight. I loved reading about all of his quirks, from his hate for sirens to eating anything his dad would eat. I hope you are all taking care of your happiness and well-being in his absence. Wishing you the best and sending love ❤️

Hi Ski Bug. Mommy just wanted to say Hi, I miss and love you like it was yesterday. Your my very special baby. Dad and I are fine, waiting for the day when we are all together. Your brothers are fine, Jeff just turned 32, still a bad eater. But still crazy bird. I ask him about you and we both look up because we know your in heaven looking down. He still knows. Not a day goes by that we don't mention or think about you. I love you so much. Mommy xoxoxoxoxox

Dear Ann & Roger, My Panama Amazon, Putsey, died on February 4, 2020. Today is the first day I could go on Rainbow Bridge and read other guest books. My heart is broken. Putsey had arthritis and fell and fractured his hip. It was downhill after that and two weeks later he died. I wish I had let him die at home but he had trouble breathing. He died in an oxygen cage at the hospital without me being there. I did a search for birds and found your memorial for Skeezix Joe. It has been a long time for you and you might not see this. Skeezix Joe sounds so much like Putsey. Putsey was so smart and had to be the center of attention all the time. Panama Amazons are so adorable. He was fearless and liked the other pets in the house that included dogs and cats. You can see my page for Putsey by searching his name or going to https://www.RainbowBridge.com/residents/PUTSE001/Resident.htm

Skeezix Joe, sounds a lot like our U-2. We have 9 birds in all. And then one of prior birds crossed Rainbow Bridge we knew they would find friend- ship with other birds while they waited for our arrival. So Skeezix Joe is likely playing with Puck, Cassie B Ziggy and so on and so forth. Some day they will be united with their owners again. Tell them they have a good place to wait for us

Hello, handsome Skeezix Joe, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom and Dad love and miss you...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and give you kitty love headbumps...she'll love to play with a beautiful bird like you! She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind to Mom and Dad...signs to Geoffrey too!...so they feel your loving presence when gentle breezes blow. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for them until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but remember you're perched in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with fur and feather angels but stop often to smile at Mom and Dad so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar in clouds among furangels to watch over Mom and Dad always, beloved Skeezix Joe. Pressy's Grandpa

Ann/Roger..it would be a comfort to have a furry be with me for 39 years..also harder to lose. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever foorprints within us. Be sure to know Skeezix is happy, healthy and flying around with Oreo,Ralph,Eva and friends while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take cre..

Dear Ann and Roger, he's beautiful and precious. What a wonderful, incredible blessing that he was a part of your lives for so many years! It's so easy to see by your words and memories that he brought love and happiness into your home every day he was with you. Now sweet Skeezix brings love and joy to many new furfriends at the rainbow meadow. He soars with angels in those heavenly skies above the rainbow meadow, knowing that he will be reunited with his earthly family someday. My two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, were there to welcome Skeezix to the rainbow meadow and I am sure my kitties are enchanted by Skeezix's personality and charm. We will see our babies again someday, never to be parted for all of eternity. I wish you blessings of healing and peace, dear friends. You were, and always will be, a wonderful family for Skeezix Joe. Blessings to Geoffrey, too. I understand and care. Jane

Hello Ann & Roger, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Skeezix Joe. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm
