Thank you for sharing. Alfie's prancing walking style put a smile on my face. I can picture it in my mind. May the memories of Alfie keep you warm and bundled when you need it most.

Hey Ted. So sorry to hear of the loss of your best friend! Dogs are one of life's true gifts because of all the love and friendship they give but it is a double-edged sword since their life spans are too short! I will take this as an extra reminder to enjoy the time we have with our 10 year old dog Max as he is such a gift to us. Your Little Bug was lucky to have a partner in life like you that took such awesome care of him and would want you to give that friendship to another of his kind soon! Best, Doug

Dear Alfies Dad Alfie was so lucky to find you as his person.I’m sure he was as sad to leave you as you were to see him go. I know he has earned his angel wings to be able to watch over you. Please don’t wait too long to give another dog a loving home like you gave Alf. I’m sure he would be really happy if you rescued another one of us who needs a loving home. When I cross over I hope to meet my brother, over a treat, and we will be able to share our memories of our “ persons” with each other. Be happy that your paths ran together for so many years. Don’t wait too long, there are a lot of us out there that need a loving home. Sending you lots of good thoughts and licks, Alfie, bro in name

Theodore.. .a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Alfie is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know he is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care.. Kathy 🐶🐱❤️🌈

Ted, I have to think that Alfie is sitting with Tony right now waiting for us over the Rainbow Bridge. It's such a bittersweet experience to share your life with a dog. You know they will go in what seems like a flash, but the love you give and receive is worth the heartache and grief that is always in store for anyone who loves a dog, as you loved Alfie, and he loves you. I am so sorry for your loss of Alfie. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Alfie that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Alfie and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Alfie continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Dear Alfie, Thank you for the wonderful companionship you have provided to Ted over the years. You loved him unconditionally and you gave him so much joy and comfort. As you are running around sniffing and playing and peeing on things, would you do me a favor and keep an eye on Ted from time to time. Just remind him that your love for Ted is as strong today as it ever was and that you look forward to the day when you get to see him again, but you are willing to wait as long as it takes. Well, have fun little fella and God bless both of you.

Gracie, trump, and myself offer much more than our condolences. We offer our empathy. Gracie is tired and is soon to pass over on the rainbow bridge herself. After 15 years of loyalty. We have known Alfie and you for most of those 15 years. The sadness of our closest friends passing on is more than overcoming. But please remember Ted. That now Alfie is no longer in pain and is in Paradise waiting on you. We shall all pass over that rainbow bridge. And meet on the other side where there is no sorrow or regrets. Your brother. Sailor

Ted, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your little bug. I have put down two beloved dogs and I know how hard it is. I cried both times as well. I am heartened by knowing you know how lucky you are to have known Alfie for 15 wonderful years. Take solace in those memories.
