Hi Short Dog. I miss you so much I still think about the day we picked you up from the shelter every time i go by there I will get sad missing you is hard. Your candle is still going for you. I hope you and Boy and Sadie are having a great time we miss you so much and still love you more than you realize you took a part of our heart with you the day you crossed over the rainbow bridge I know you are no longer in any pain so you are free to have fun and play and run the beautiful flowers and green meadows and barking at the birds like you use to do I miss you so much and the pain of you not being here with us is still the same you will always be in our hearts and thoughts every day you gave us so much love and joy every day and all you wanted was to be loved and petted so you see the simple act of love you gave us was the greatest gift you gave us and I will never forget you. Hello Short Dog by now you and Sadie are playing with Boy and having a good time with boy. I miss you Short Dog your candle is still going for you I miss you and the pain is still there the day we had to drive off and say good bye to you for the last time I hope you know how much we love you and miss you I will never forget the day we bought you home from the shelter every time I see the shelter I think about you and it hurts to look at the shelter when Boy comes home I will put him next to you and Sadie Boy also has a candle going for him. I play a song in my truck for you and Sadie. It is not the same without you here. I will talk to you at night and I hope you can feel my love for you. Shorty, Today was a sad day for me.Darrell had to get his truck fixed in town today so we stopped by the restaurant next to the place where I took you to the pet hospital that is when I had to say goodbye to you. As I went outside to the truck I could not even look at that place all the memories came flooding back to me of that night. I'm still hurting 😭😭😭 and I miss you so much I wish you was still here with me. Your candle is still going I will not let it go out. Today has been a hard day for me seeing that place.All the memories came flooding back to me of that night when I had to let you cross over the rainbow bridge.We have a small tree that I will plant in memory of you. Dear Greg, I am so sorry for your loss. I can see Shorty was so very loved. I feel your pain, I lost my sweet girl just over 3 weeks ago and the emptiness is overwhelming. But, in the end, knowing everything I know now, even feeling all of this pain, I wouldn't trade the last 13 years for anything! I am so thankful to have known that love at all.
