My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your beloved Shelby. It doesn't matter how long we've had them or how long they've been gone - it's so hard to go on without them in our lives. I hope that the memories you have of your time together help to ease the pain of your loss.

Hello, pretty Shelby, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom and Dad love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words for you. We asked our Pressy to help Shiloh welcome you and be a playmate to chase sunbeams and rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mom and Dad feel your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now another guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mom and Dad so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom and Dad always, beloved baby girl. Pressy's Grandpa

Dear Scott and Laurie, My name is Sue and I am a volunteer with Rainbow Bridge. I wanted to say how very sorry I am for the loss of your precious Shelby. I read your loving words and memories and I can tell that Shelby lived a life surrounded by love for him. I lost my beloved dog Kola not long ago and I understand the heartache and pain that you are feeling. I just know that Kola was there to greet Shelby at the bridge with her silly smile and tail wags. Kola too loved to play in the snow and try on eyeglasses too!! I hope that in time the happy memories of your time with Shelby will bring you some comfort. Be well and take care. Sue Toronto Canada (I would be honored if you would visit Kola's page and see one of Shelby's new friends)

Scott & Laurie, how gorgeous! I am so very sorry that Shelby had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. One of my best friends and companion of 16 years, Willy, went to the bridge in January. My tears still flow when I think of him. I know though, that she and Willy are probably playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. I know Willy loved the sunshine and I hope that she does too. I truly believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I have left an extra angel to look over Shelby, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always with ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. I would love for you to visit Willy at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/WILLY010/Resident.HTM

PLease visit Amor at Rainbow Bridge to see my little girl. Take care, God bless. Eleanor

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that the pain is unbearable right now but it will get better. You do not need to ask forgiveness for loving Shelby so much that you were willing to let go. When you love you don't want to see pain so you were very brave to do what you had to do. May the Lord bless and keep you now and forever until you meet again. Blessings....................

Hello Scott & Laurie, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Shelby. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

Shelby - You are a most beautiful girl and you have left your family a lot of love and companionship! Send them some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have any friends. Let Scott and Laurie know that you have met up with Shiloh and that God has appointed the both of you to be their guardian, protectors to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. Shelby leaves this message with you, "I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much. By the way, I am in heaven but wherever there is love, I am there also." Love, God, Shelby, and the special angel Letter from God - Author Unknown

Dear Scott and Laurie, she's so very beautiful. Your words brought tears to my eyes because I know the sorrow you are going through. Please know that Shelby is happy and well, and playing like a puppy with many new furfriends in heaven's sunshine. At night, she rests with her friends beneath God's most beautiful stars and angels watch over them with love. She knows that she will be reunited with her earthly family at the bridge someday. I know this is all true because my two babies are at the rainbow meadow, too. May wonderful memories bring healing to your hearts and may God bless you with comfort and peace. I understand and care.
