Lee...a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Shay is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Dear Lee, Just wanted you to know my heart is saddened with yours in the loss of Shay. Having been a dog owner/lover most of my life, I know the deep heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Shay. Please find comfort in knowing that Shay is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, and Bear 11/17/19. I am sure that Shay and my babies have all become good friends. What a beautiful baby and happy smile! Shay's love shines in those eyes and the Bridge has welcomed a new angel. I want Shay to find Buddy (our Yorkie) so they can have a great time. There are a few others who just got to the bridge this week too, so they can all romp and play. I'm sure Shay will look in on you from time to time so that you know how much you are loved.
