Dear Janet, she's so beautiful and precious in her picture. What a wonderful blessing that Shay came into your life, bringing love and companionship every day she was with you. Now sweet Shay brings love and joy to her many new friends at the rainbow meadow. She is happy and well, roaming, chasing, cuddling and napping, knowing all along that she will be reunited with her earthly mommy someday. I know this is all true because my two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, the lights of my life, are at the rainbow meadow, too. Hello Janet, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Shay. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. Janet, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. Janet.. a great tribute to a beautiful girl who has given you whatever he could in friendship and memories. It is never easy to lose a furry, no matter young or older and I have lost them both. I have visited all of you babies--Pryssy,Sydney, and of course Shay. They have each given you their own special memories, so remember them all. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know Shay,Pryssy and Sydney are happy,healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph,Eva and friends while waiting for us to join them onthe Bridge. I am so sorry that Shay had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. My best friends and companions went to the bridge, Willy last year and Daniel just last week. My tears are flowing freely when I think of them. I know though, that they are all surely playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. Willy and Daniel loved the sunshine, and I hope that she does too. I believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I left an angel to look over Shay, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always in ours. God Bless You until we all meet again.
