Adele and Andy: I thought this fuzzy blanket would be a great gift for Shaggs-a simple way of saying "I am thinking of you!"

Dear Adele & Andy, I just lost my dear friend Nigel to liver cancer last Friday. He too is an OES. We had no idea he even had it. He went in for exploratory surgery due to internal bleeding and that is when it was discovered. The only kind thing to do was to let him go peacefully while he was already under for the operation. The hardest thing for me was not being able to say goodbye to my buddy. I take comfort in knowing that Nigel will have other Old English Sheepdogs to hang out with at Rainbow Bridge. He enjoyed the company of all dog breeds, mind you, but it is still nice to know he will have brothers and sisters from his own family with him. Hopefully Shaggs can teach Nigel how to have fun. Nigel was never really into playing games. He preferred getting human attention by sitting or laying by my side, nudging at my arms until I'd stroke his head or rub his belly. Nigel was a desert doggie so I am sending you a potted cactus on his behalf. Jeff

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Shaggs, I miss you so much and that you were in NH makes it harder as I couldn't give you that big hug that I always gave you. I will always remember you geeting me at the door each morning that I came. You had a smile that was bigger then most people I know. I love you and I'll miss you so much. Have fun in Heaven and play like you have never played before. Run Shaggs Run. Give Diamond and Dancer a big kiss from me :). Love you always, Debby~

Dear Sweet Shaggs, you were the hit of the family. I bet when you run around the bridge the shiny tooth announces your arrival. I know mommy and daddy miss you with all their hearts, but the wonderful memories you leave behind and the special pictures left behind will last forever. I will leave a gift that will help keep that tooth shiny. Love Nancy-Commander Bun Bun's Mommy-http://Rainbowsbridge.com/Residents/COMMA001/Resident.htm
