Dave and Barbara, I am sorry for the loss of your sweet angel Shady. Such a pretty girl who has so much love and gratitude for you for the great care and nice home you gave her. I hope she meets up with my Murphy who also got very excited when he saw a squirrel run up a tree.

How wonderful to have met you, Shady. You had a full and wonderful life and now you wait for us across the Rainbow Bridge. Your spirit continues.

Dave, Barbara: Shady is now in a better position to guard your home as he can watch everything from above. I’m sorry for your loss. Know that you are not alone. I, too, have lost a beloved pet; everyone in this website have. We know you’re hurting, and we’re here for you. We feel the pain that you feel; we’ve suffered the loneliness that you suffer, at not having our beloved pet by our side anymore. But we all feel the same relief---that where our beloved pets are now, they’re safe, and happy, and content, whatever afflicted them in this life is gone. And we all share the same hope---one day, we will be together again with our beloved ones. My baby, a female Beagle named River, left for Rainbow Bridge on March 21, 2017; you can see River here---https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/RIVER002/Resident.htm

Dear Dave & Barbara, I understand this is a sad time for you I too know the heartbreak of losing a beloved friend and constant companion having lost my beloved Bob Barker on August 28, 2017...so I understand how much you miss Shady! Just remember that it is never really “Goodbye”, just “Until we’re together again”! And I pray that this thought will give your heart comfort and peace in the days to come when you think of your sweet Shady…. Now Shady waits for you to sleep at night and dream of her. Her love continues to cross the Rainbow bridge and come to you all the time. My pups and I are sending you very – very special loving thoughts, prayers, positive energy, and petitioning the Universe to ease your heart pain and give you peace in the knowledge that you will see your little one again one day and that for now your sweet Shady is but a dream away… You can visit Bob Barker at: https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BOBBA002/Resident.htm

I am so sorry for your loss of Shady. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Shady that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Shady and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Shady continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Dave and Barbara, I am so sorry for your loss, Shady is so beautiful and amazing! I can only imagine the joy! I have no words that can make you feel better or take away the heartache and pain when a fur baby goes to the Rainbow Bridge, so I will simply keep you in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Shady. Please find comfort in knowing that Shady is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. I am sure that Shady and my babies have all become good friends. Dear Dave and Barbara, A dog’s love is truly something wondrous. They never point out our flaws, though surely we have them. What good hearts they have, teaching us by their example. And they are missed so deeply when they pass on, leaving us with fond memories forever in our heart. Shady will never forget you either - Shady will be waiting patiently at Rainbow Bridge playing with the others all the while keeping an eye out for the two of you for your final joyous reunion. Wishing you comfort and peace in your time of need. My sincerest sympathies - Carmen and Gigi's mom - alicia

Shady I am sorry for your loss. Dave and Barbara love you and miss you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

David and Barbara, I'm sorry for your loss. Shady was a beautiful & sweet girl. If you have not seen this poem before but it is one of my favorites. Take Care, Angie from Keller Lake THE BEST PLACE TO BURY A DOG "There is one best place to bury a dog. "If you bury him in this spot, he will come to you when you call - come to you over the grim, dim frontier of death, and down the well-remembered path, and to your side again. "And though you call a dozen living dogs to heel, they shall not growl at him, nor resent his coming, for he belongs there. "People may scoff at you, who see no lightest blade of grass bent by his footfall, who hear no whimper, people who may never really have had a dog. Smile at them, for you shall know something that is hidden from them, and which is well worth the knowing. "The one best place to bury a good dog is in the heart of his master." --- Ben Hur Lampman --- from the Portland Oregonian Sept. 11, 1925

We are so very sorry precious Shady has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Shady was so loved and revered and was a brave old soul the last couple of years as she lived her senior years. We heard Jesus loves dogs and horses and do believe that is true. Imagine her running and herding anything and everyone up there, with a smile on her face and a vibrant bounce in her run. Love and prayers to you and your fur babies.

Dear Shady, you are truly beautiful. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mom and dad who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Dave and Barbara, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Shady is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet presence continually nuzzle your hearts until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Shady will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

For sweet Shady, I know that during your lifetime you gave Dave & Barbara much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Shady I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Dave & Barbara, I just visited your Shady's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Shady would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Shady. Wishing you both all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).

Dave and Barbara: Shady's passions and zest for life will always be remembered with great fondness. Her love for you was in a league all its own. May each day bring strength and solace on your journey as you celebrate, honor her and remember a life well lived. It's been said Rainbow Bridge has the zippiest squirrels for which I have chosen one especially for your 'best girl'. Leap in peace, Shady!
