MaryKay/Steve...a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Scruffy is a beautiful girl and is very lucky to have you as her forever family to give her the love and care she deserved. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know she is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

Marykay and Steve, I'm so sorry for your loss of your precious Scruffy. As you cherish and remember every memory and moment, please be comforted and know that your Scruffy is at the Rainbow Bridge meeting many new friends including my Bailey who crossed over to the Bridge on July 29, 2016. The Bridge kids will be with your precious fur-angel in the beautiful Paradise Meadow. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and I'm leaving a winter white rose bouquet for comfort. God Bless...

Hi Marykay and Steve, Well when I saw Scruffy was a poodle and I read your memorial I just had to write to you, because I had poodles and I know they are a one of a kind its very hard to lose them. I am so sorry for your loss of Scruffy the poor little baby had a hard life before you but you changed that and made his life worthwhile, I'm so glad you got to share some of his life with you both. You will never forget him I know that, and you will never get over losing Scruffy but you will slowly learn to go on without him, and you will keep him tucked away safely in your heart forever. Your story made me cry it really touched my heart. I have had three poodles but my last one Jasper was my soul mate I lost him almost one year ago now and I miss him every single day, I still talk to him, I still have his beds and toys out, Ill give you his memorial address in caseyou might like to visit him www.RainbowsBridge.com/residents/JASPE063/Resident.htm Jasper will be there to meet Scruffy

Dear Marykay & Steve, I can tell from your memorial page made for Scruffy how much you miss him. Having been a dog owner/lover all my life, I know that ache in the heart when we have to let one of them go. I do hope, with time, the sadness will ease and in its place will be those treasured happy memories that will bring a smile to your face and heart again. Blessings my friends...

Marykay and Steve: Scruffy found angels on earth before peacefully journeying to Rainbow Bridge and reuniting with Whispe, Hobbs & Bentley. What a privilege is was to carry him through his life, to learn how to trust as you filled his heart with an abundance of endless love. Now, he is awake and whole again and surrounded by peacefulness. Most likely, there is no resting for this kiddo as he finally has a perfectly functioning body and is able to chew, run, and dance, and most likely fly. May this imagery soothe your soul(s) and turn tears of sorrow into ones of joy. With heartfelt condolences, I have left a trio (+1) of balloons to symbolize the loves of your life.

Marykay and Steve, I am sorry to know about your sweet Scruffy. What a beautiful story and picture album you put together in Scruffy's honor. What wonderful pawrents you are to rescue her and stick with her during the beginning of her rescue. I know it is hard but Scruffy left your side knowing what true love is, a wonderful loving home, a mommy. You gave Scruffy a beautiful happy ending that most rescue animals don't get. Thank you for rescuing. As with Whisper, many changes, adjustments and struggles you now once face again. Sending you thoughts of strength in the days that follow. Your dear Scruffy will always be loved, so very much missed and never forgotten.
