Gerri/Marc..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Scoutie is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know he is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

What a beautiful handsome little guy. Such a wonderful face and sounds like such a character. I am so very sorry for your loss. The pain is devastating and something that we really do not know about until it happens. So extreme is the loss and so profound is the love and adoration that was there and all of a sudden it is gone. They miss us as much as we miss them I too just lost a fur baby and I sing and talk to him every day. He had a favorite song and I sing it all day so he will hear my love and how much I miss him. The heartache I feel is constant and will take a long time to go away. Though I know it never will. We honor them by mourning our loss but it is so hard. I have often thought how lucky I have been to have my babies and how much they have added to my life that it is only fitting that it should hurt so much when they leave. Be well and talk to your baby with your love and your missing him. He will hear and always be with you.

What a beautiful pup. May Scottie rest in peace. My Diana passed on May 2, 2020 in my wifes arms as we drove her to the vet. The heartbreak will never go away, but Scottie will forever be in your heart. Blessings.

Scoutie sounds like pure joy. He enjoyed his environment and was a great explorer. I can relate to the question of wondering if you will ever get past the heartache of loss. I've asked myself this same question only to realize there is no such thing as the right time to lose a beloved, loving family member. In my wanting to have had more time with my own sweet girl, I realize that losing her, no matter when, would not have been less painful. Grief takes time. Hold dear to your heart the memories you and Scoutie created together.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Scoutie. Please find comfort in knowing that Scoutie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. I am sure that Scoutie and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Gerri & Marc, My heart is saddened with yours in the loss of Scoutie. Having been a dog owner/lover all my life, I know the deep heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I do hope, with time, your sadness will ease and in its place will be some joyful memories of Scoutie that will make you smile or laugh again when you think of him. Blessings, Dianna

Beautiful boy indeed! He was the perfect companion for you and you were the perfect parents for him. I can't imagine him receiving better care and more love than what you gave to him.
