I think of my sweet Sassy with love. She had the most beautiful face and golden eyes. A lovely small Maine Coon and one of the dearest . She handled her old age well. She did whatever I asked of her and loved to sit in the sun on the screened porch. She took over two shelves in two closets..just loved to curl up in privacy behind the towels and then my sewing machine. She also loved her carrier..it was always fun to search for her! I truly miss her but am so happy she lived such a good long life, and passed in her home in her own bed, surrounded by her family...those loved her. Say hello to Kiwi and Chloe in your garden..also beloved family cats who also lived very long and good lives and passed only a few years ago. We miss you all. My love to you, Nana

Hello, pretty Sassy Smith, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mama loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and share kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mama hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mama so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mama always, beloved baby girl. Pressy's Grandpa

Wendy, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Sassy and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Sassy. Please find comfort in knowing that Sassy is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Sassy, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

I am so sorry that Sassy had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. My best friends and companions went to the bridge, Willy two years ago and Daniel one year agi. My tears are flowing freely when I think of them. I know though, that they are all surely playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. Willy and Daniel loved the sunshine, and I hope that Sassy does too. I believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I left an angel to look over Sassy, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always in ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. I would love for you to visit Willy at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/WILLY010/Resident.HTM. Daniel’s link is their also.

Dear Wendy I'm sorry for the loss of your Sassy. What a beautiful tribute for a perfect friend. You were together for a long time but its never long enough. I lost my Finnbar in December.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be. Until then Sassy is waiting for you at the bridge happy and healthy. She's young again and even more perfect than you remember. There are soft meadows to lay in the sun. She's having a ball with her new friends and Tigger all the while still keeping an eye on you. I hope she's met my Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat who loves to play. He'll show Sassy all the good spots. If you would care to visit my Finnbar http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/FINNB001/Resident.htm

For Sassy, what a purrfect girl you are, you'll be so happy at the Rainbows Bridge. Your mom and family love and miss you so much. I know my Sassy & Frosty was there to greet you. They'll be purrfect friends for you, they will show you the best places to play and chase golden sunbeams. Dear Wendy, I am deeply sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you. It is never easy losing our beloved pets, they leave such deep paw prints on our hearts. Sassy was a gift from God and now she has been called back home, when your time comes to make that journey she'll be there waiting for you. Remember this is not good bye, rather I'll see you again. When you are sad or lonely just look into your heart and the memories of the life you shared with Sassy will forever be shining so brightly. Hugs. Dear Sassy, you are truly cherished! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mama and all your family who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Wendy, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Sassy is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Sassy will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

For sweet Sassy Smith, I know that during your lifetime you gave Wendy much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at the beautiful residency that Wendy created just for you and reading what was written for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Sassy Smith I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Wendy, I just visited Sassy Smith's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Sassy Smith would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Last January I lost my little boy Pedro so I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Sassy Smith. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
