Hello Mark & Debbie, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Sassie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Sassie. Please find comfort in knowing that Sassie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Sassie, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Mark and Debbie, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Sassie and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

What a lovely tribute you wrote to Sassie on her memory page. Sounds like she was well-named! It's so sad that our pets' lives are so short. After wonderful years with them, we're left grieving. But you will remain the better people you became through loving Sassie. And, perhaps one day, you'll be able to think of her more with smiles than tears. She'd like that.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Sassie. I know how hard it is to say goodbye. No matter how long you have them its never long enough. You'll be together again when its time..and it will be great. Until then Sassie is at the bridge, happy and healthy. Lots of cats to chase. I hope he's met my Finn by now. He's a scrappy little cat who likes to run. I'm sure they'll have a ball. For sweet Sassie, I know that during your lifetime you gave Mark & Debbie much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at the beautiful residency Mark & Debbie created just for you and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Sassie I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Mark & Debbie, I just visited Sassie's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Sassie would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Last January I lost my little boy Pedro so I can understand how you must be feeling. Mark & Debbie please visit my Pedro and write a few words in his guest book at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Pedro002/Resident.htm - thank you. Wishing you both all the best always, Rosalind (Pedro's mom)

Hello, pretty Sassie, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom and Dad love and miss you...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase sunbeams...no chasing kitties now!...and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mom and Dad feel your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at Mom and Dad so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom and Dad always, beloved Sassie. Pressy's Grandpa

MARK AND DEBBIE SORRY ABOUT THE PASSING OF SASSIE
From: Clare and Martha
On: 2/14/13

Dear Sassie, you are truly cherished! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mommy and daddy who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Mark and Debbie, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Sassie is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually hug your hearts until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Sassie will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM
