I am so sorry about the loss of your beautiful beloved Sam. I understand your sorrow because I had to put my beautiful, sweet dog, also named Sam to sleep one week before Christmas. My Sam was born on Easter Sunday and went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 8 years young. I know both Sams are playing together and frolicking in the green pastures of Rainbow Bridge. Dogs are such loving, loyal and wonderful companions. I hope you are comforted knowing that you will be reunited with your beautiful Sam at Rainbow Bridge. Until then let your heart be filled with wonderful memories of all the joy your Sam brought to you. Sam is Resting in Heavenly Peace in the Tender Loving Care and Hands of Jesus and all the Angels. God's Love and Light will Forever Shine Brightly upon Sam. ❤️

I just saw the link on the bottom of you PF page...I am so teary eyed! My DH and I have two "fur children" that really are our children. They sleep in bed under the covers with us! Dogs truely are so much more than an animal. I don't think anyone but dog owners can understand that. I think this page you made for Sam is amazeing, and I am glad I was able to read it!:)

Hi Elaine and family, I could tell Sam was such a special boy and he loved you all so much. Thinking of him and you and how he is happily playing with Abby at the bridge now. Much love, Laura F / dustypaws

I never even knew this site existed - I saw your link on tpf. What a wonderful site and dedication, but I can't spend too much time here as I am already balling from reading your post. I too have a Sam dog and one of the first things he ever learned was to give hugs, or huggers as we sometimes call them. He is still with us, though he is getting a little slower. It's good to know that the memories can live on through these pages, though!! Gracie looks just as beautiful as Sam and I'm sure gives lots of comfort.

How wonderful it was to find my way here . Our black lab Sam passed away this afternoon.(17 mos old). Complications from a vaccination. I was trying to cheer myself up a bit searching for a new designer bag. Though we only had him a short time,we raised him from 6 wks, I know this is nothing in the world that can cheer me up tonight. He was a warm and intelligent dog as well as watchdog always on duty. He sounds alot like your Sam and his story really touched my heart. I hope my Sammie can meet up with him at the Rainbow's Bridge. With sincere sympathy, SBflogirl

I'm sorry for your loss. He's a beautiful dog...I live with three cats myself, I could imagine what it is like to lose them. I hope he's in peace in heaven.

I came across this page via tpf. Your story made me tear up and wish pets didn't have to leave so soon. I'm glad that Sam gave your family so much love and happiness.

I found this looking for a chanel bag on the forum, needless to say i forgot about the bag, and cried buckets. A lovely story, but a sad ending, i felt your loss, and was so sorry. Although time is a healer, its sometimes just hits you, like your story did, and made me think of my darling g.s.d's. take care, and know there is at least 1 person this minute thinking of you all. god bless
